I love these sprouting trays! I've never had much luck with the mason jar method but these trays make it so easy. I only use 1 tray so I can speak to using multiple at one time. I'm not sure why it shows these as a "frequently returned item" because they work great, are of great quality, and they fit together perfectly. I can't see why there would be a problem. I highly recommend them for getting in your daily broccoli sprouts!

Works well for growing sprouts. The multi-level trays allow you to grow a large quantity at once, which is really convenient. I also like that it’s made of stainless steel—it feels sturdy and easy to clean.

Super high quality. Great product. One thing that is a bit challenging is trying to scrape the sprouts from the screen, as they want to stick and grow through. But I'm impressed with the sturdiness of the product.

So far, I have found the some seeds will sprout more readily than others. Compared to a plastic kit I'd been using, this set is more attractive in the kitchen. The stainless steel seems to be of good quality and the cover can be used as a second drainage saucer. Rinsing the sprouts is easy with the built-in screens. What I don't like: it takes some firm pulling to remove the sprouts. Then, you have to really work at cleaning the broken stems and roots from screens. I use the sprayer in my kitchen sink and a nylon bristle pan brush. But it seems to take forever.

Product arrived promptly as predicted in good shape. Product is A-1 and now has a growing batch of sprouts that will be mature in 2-3 days. This product looks nice on the counter, grows sprouts as advertised, but the harvesting is a PAIN. The roots grow through the mesh bottom of the pans and you have to pull them out manually. So, if you think you are going to turn the tray upside down to harvest your sprouts when they are ready, forget it. I have tried different seeds; same outcome. I have tried (1) pulling the sprouts manually (often rips them in half or crushes the top part), (2) "shaving" the roots with a plastic scraper (the one I have is not sharp enough to cut the root and even if it was, shaving eliminates half of your "crop". Yes, I know a razor blade would be more efficient, but I'm not sure I want to take a chance of clipping tiny bits of stainless steel in with my sprouts.

These are nice quality stainless steel, but I have only mixed results with the sprouts. I've been doing sprouts for a long time and wanted to get away from plastics. I don't get nearly the sprout results from these. I wonder if it is because there is no ventilation until they are left completely uncovered for the final greening? Oh and I lose a lot of the sprouts through the screen.

After being duped by a dodgy seller on her selling so called food grade stainless steel sprouter I had almost given up "trying" again to find a REAL ONE and I came across this sellers item! Its 10000000000000% GENUINE stainless steel its SO sturdy and I havent weighed it but it feels like its about 3kgs in weight so VERY VERY sturdy! I know how to sprout so know this will be PERFECT in my kitchen and I can ditch the other crap one and I will be investing in another of this sprouter.The only surprising thing was its BIGGER than I imagined for the price I paid so I was SO EXCITED its almost the size of a small dinner plate its about 22cm in diameter and about 14.5cm in height! My review is in detail because I don't like seeing other customers ripped off with dodgy CHEAP rubbish like I was, and I want you to know THIS ITEM is the REAL thing and I wish you all success growing your own healthy foods.HAPPY SPROUTING! PS I am in Australia and the postage time to me was PROMPT as it arrive a week earlier than they said it would so HIGHLY RECOMMENDED SELLER to buy from.

I have got this item earlier that what was expected. The quality is perfect, and easy to be cleaned. I really recommend this item.

The product arrived with a dent in the lid. After reading the other reviews I'm wondering if it is a new or used item. I have contacted the seller with this question but have not had a reply as yet.

I’m really happy with these sprout growing containers. The metal seems to be of good quality and they are easy to use. To avoid roots growing down through mesh, I filled a bowl with water and quickly dunked the seed tray in the water for the first few rinses. The trays are easy to clean, all bough I did cut my finger along the underside rim while cleaning - so use caution. I would definitely buy these again.
