Awesome value starter kit. I got this set after purchasing a number of smaller sets for specific mini's and other jobs. I came from the citadel & army P paints and I have to say Vallejo paints are for the most part superior for ease of use, coating, vibrance and thinness. You wont loose details with Vallejo unless you really try, and that's fantastic as im still a novice and end up having to do repeated coats because I dont know what im doing all that well. They dry very fast and mix well with their own and other brands without issue. Thinning these down and running them through an airbrush is as simple as it gets and also with great results.

Love the paint, works well but you may get your box looking like this out of the package. One of the bottles Exploded in shipping and it got all over the other bottles. If it came like the other review I’ve seen on here then I would say it’s a great value. But do to the condition. I cannot recommend it if the fear of it happening to another. Especially for 94$

For getting your feet wet with miniature painting this is a great kit and a good value for the money. Colors are vibrant and mix well, lots of pigment and excellent coverage. Only down side is that you don't get much paint. The bottles are tiny. The dragon in the photos was painted with nothing but the paints included in this kit. No airbrush. Just brush painting.

The other reviews mention a disorganized box with paints missing and duplicate colors, but I got everything in mine. The brush sleeve came off during transit, but the recess holding the brush kept the bristles from getting ruined. At about $1 a container of Vallejo paint with a size 0 brush and a 40-bottle case that can be latched shut, you are not going to find a better bang for your buck. Super happy with the purchase.

Arrived with packaging looking ok at first but then saw paint stains on the inside and outside and bottles loose inside. The packaging is horribly done and does not ensure a safe delivery of the product at all. I didn't even open it after seeing that. Will return it.

Not sure if they were over tightened, or if they were damaged some other way, but all the paint was out of the foam protectors, and several have cracked lids. I would not reorder this product this way. I'm not sure how long the ones with cracked lids will remain usable. This would be good purchase if you could know it wouldnt have messed up bottle caps. Take your money elsewhere-like a local gaming store. These are good paints, some of the best I've used. Fulfillment just is lacking for the price of the item.

Like seen in the picture, one paint cap is broken, this means that my gold is all dried up and useless. Because I found out after usage of other colors the whole package is not returnable. Further all is good, the paints are nice. Sadly with opening the case, all paints nearly fell out. They gave extra space for taller bottles to store, but because of this you need to carry the case horizantally.
