Q: Where is the expiration date on the bag? i bought the 12lb sweet potato & fish formula small bites.

My bag has the expiration stamped on the back next to the feeding guidelines. I use the fish variety too and the expiration is about a year beyond my date of purchase.

Q: how big are the actual small breed bites and can they be used as little individual snacks inead of other snack choices - are they like 1/2 inch or more?

They are about 5/8" and my two maltese love them as little treats!! They will go to their food cntainer to ask for them. I vary the flavors I buy and usually have two flavors at a time for variety. They also have little treats fr the small breeds, perfct size!!

Q: My dog's urine smells appalling from this food. Her eye discharge is gone, she doesn't chew her paws now, but the SMELL! Is this normal?

Both of my dogs are on this food, with seemingly no issues. The male's urine is much more potent than the female's urine, but that may be because he pees higher off the ground than she does, so it's easier to catch a whiff of it from where I stand while holding the leash. I don't notice a smell from hers. Maybe it's just a metabolism thing, so it would be different for each dog. Perhaps a call to the vet would be in order?
