My cats absolutely love this item. The only issue I have is that they have broken the mouse tail wand part and it no longer pokes out from under the mat and they've seemed to lose interest, this product would be perfect if replacements were available.

Wanted an interactive toy for when we moved house and the cat wasn’t allowed outside and I’m so pleased I purchased this.The random setting is really useful so you can leave it on for 15 mins and it automatically turns off. Haven’t used the feather so much so can’t comment on how that lasts. It’s got some noise but worth it for the cats enjoyment.We’ve had it about 2 months now and while it’s slowed down a bit, we haven’t had to change the batteries yet.

I’ve got a beautiful clingy kitten who won’t eat or sleep with me walking around. Today was the first time In months that I could leave the room and she doesn’t follow me. She was very happy and entertained playing while I went to wash dishes.Wish the material was a little bigger with a few more settings but already really happy I got this for her.

Both my cats love this. The feather attachment is pretty useless but the plastic tail that goes under the cover is what they love. Random setting lasts 15 mins then auto shuts off. Fast or slow settings carries on until you switch it off.One of them usually goes over to it and starts batting it when they want me to turn it on for a game lolI usually put it on 2-3 times a day for them so it's getting well used. Good value compared to others on the market

Very impressed with this product - it’s very well made & robust with two options for play - a mouse tail under the mat which moves at 3 speeds & with a 15 minute timer on the random programme & a feather which plugs into the machine without the mat & rotates at the same speeds. It was delivered this afternoon & my cat has been playing with constantly. When it switches off, he cries for me to switch it back on! Batteries are included which is useful. It’s not very noisy, certainly not enough to bother me or to deter my cat from playing with it. It’s not the cheapest toy but certainly one of the best I’ve ever bought & you can purchase spare feathers & mouse tails if you have a really destructive cat. I can’t imagine any cat not liking this & would highly recommend it.

The Chase the Tail interactive cat toy has excellent play value for both kittens and older cats. My cats were immediately drawn to it, and it provided plenty of entertainment while helping them burn off energy. The design is sturdy, and I appreciate that the wand stays securely attached during play—a problem I’ve encountered with similar products.However, I was concerned about the safety of the rubber tail attachment. While playing, one of my kittens bit off the rubber mouse tail and tried to eat it. Thankfully, I caught it in time, but this could have easily resulted in an expensive vet visit. Given that the toy is specifically marketed for cats, I believe the attachments should be more durable and resistant to chewing.Overall, while it’s a fun and engaging toy, I would recommend supervision during play and hope the manufacturer considers making the attachments more cat-proof in the future.

We have an easily bored Bengal who will spray if not entertained! This really works! He chases it, hides from it, pounces on it and really enjoys. Our other two older cats love it too.Drawback -well its a bit noisy, but I'll put up with that. Great design

An absolute waste of money. The mouse or feather just swing the mat around with them. Boring as heck for our cats. Would return it but it’s not worth the money it would cost me to return it. Previous mat and mouse toys have been hugely successful but definitely not this one.
