I kept the piercing studs in my ear lobes for five days without incident. No swelling, discharge, or bleeding, nothing indicating infection. I cleansed twice a day with saline wound wash. Since the points were jabbing me at night, I decided to swap them out for a different pair of earrings - I saw rust on my ears! The cotton ball I used to clean it all out turned orange. I think I'm lucky that I decided to take them out when I did. Although I don't have sensitive ears, a build-up of more rust may have led to infection.Treat this kit as incomplete: Buy the necessary earrings with *surgical stainless steel* studs before proceeding! Put them in as soon as your piercings aren't tender.This kit is otherwise a 4 or 5-star product for the money, easily. As the saying goes, buyer beware!

Easy to use not very painful. Use it on my daughter who was terrified to get it done. It was so easy she wants more holes in her ears.

My ears was hurting and effected before and now that I’m using these earings( I haven’t pierced with the gun yet for my ear but I pierced using toilet paper to test that it works and won’t get stuck and it didn’t) but I’m using the one of the earings that came with the piercing kit and it don’t hurt anymore..idk if it’s stainless steel but even if it isn’t it don’t matter cause I could buy some stainless steel ones before 24 hours after piercing. But yeah I ordered some earings from Amazon that was hyper something I forget the name but it was hurting my piercing I had when I got like when I was a baby.Btw I’m going to update this review after I pierce my ears with the gun and try to do myNose yes ik about not using the gun because it could get infected or something or whatever but it’s my body and I have seen some people been successful with it so I’ll try and if not then lesson learned I’ll just get it done.Don’t use the earrings for more than 24 hours please remove them after a while these infected my ears and it looked horrible please don’t use the earrings for long they not stainless steel.🙁

I feared this happening with the gun...I just hoped I got a properly functioning one. I should have known better that it wasn't ejecting the earring correctly because of the bear I tested it on being too fluffy or something...BIG MISTAKE & WRONG ASSUMPTION on my part...My poor child im sure is now traumatized from this experience seeing as when I did trigger the gun...the dang earring did not fall odd and it remained in the gun...therefore there was no easy removal...I don't know if it was her anticipating it and then jumping or did she jump after the puncture but either way I felt awful. She bled a little but hollered and screamed a lot. My son was who I actually got it for but my baby girl asked me to do hers tonight before we went out....she is 3 and I'm sure I traumatized her. The release nor pressure I think is fast enough for it to be as painless as in store. Will be returning asap.

The media could not be loaded. Over all seems to be a pretty good product. Gun is sturdy and looks just like the ones they use in the malls. Everything was clean and came with everything described in the ad. Studs are good quality, would definitely recommend. Only bad thing was the packaging of the studs. They are placed on what looks like a piece of styrofoam egg carton, not a huge problem, just a little annoying bc they all fall out all over the place. Over all happy with purchase!!

Simple to use. ****Note**** THE STUDS ARE NOT STAINLESS SURGICAL STEAL im pretty sure they are nickel. Works great for piercing but bad for the skin. I did mine & 6 other people's so far. We all found out the hard way. So, I recommend switching them out to a sterling silver or gold stud with in 24 hours of piercing.
