So far this has fit the bill on what I was searching for. It appears to be of good quality and it is exceptionally very comfortable. I got the Queen size and I'm loving it, feels like luxury. It is high density, heavy, and it is a medium firm plushy feel. You don't feel yourself sinking into it when you roll over, and aren't trying to climb out of a deep hole either, easy roll over. I do have a super firm bed from Bowles Mattress, the HD one that you can flip over and use both sides and I wanted to build upon it to my liking. Started with a firm latex thinking that would do but it didn't have enough cush feel like a cloud, so I got this and put on top of that and now I'm in heaven. So far no aches or pains in my lower back or anywhere. I also have a medium firm cloud temperpedic bed which is so comfortable when you go to sleep in it, but I would wake up in PAIN in my lower back, so that led me to this bed I have now. This is a 2 thumbs up mattress topper for me so far!! (Just wanted to also add, that this doesn't have an odor, it doesn't slip around on my bed and it doesn't sleep hot either like my Temperpedic Cloud does. If I could give this topper more stars instead of just 5 I would!! Thank you very much to the company that makes this (don't change a thing) and to Amazon for making it available to us!!!) (UPDATE- Nov. 29, 2019) - This topper is still great, holding up very well, looks and feels the same as the day I got it and still very much pleased with it!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOPPER!!! {UPDATE- March 2021} - Mattress topper is still holding up great, still very comfy. I am still very happy with this purchase whenever this topper does wear out, I will definitely be buying another for sure! I should get a discount for all the good reviews I give them, you'd think, but whatever, I do love this topper though and like helping people when I know something is a good product. I appreciate seeing people share their opinions of products, as long as it's "HONEST", it's very helpful.

I have been looking for a mattress topper suitable for plus size side-sleepers for a while now. I did quite a bit of research before landing on this specific topper. My mattress is very cheap and springy, so I was looking for something that would conceal those properties as well as support my figure properly and alleviate pressure from my back and hips. I knew after the first night of sleeping on this that I had made the right choice. I considered cheaping out and choosing something lower quality (I’m broke), but I chose to invest in my health and comfort and boy am I grateful I did. I wanted to wait until I had slept on this topper for at least a few weeks before writing this review. My thoughts have not changed at all. This mattress topper is clearly very high quality. The assembly was very easy. I got the Twin size (3”) and it seemed ready to sleep on the second I finished assembling it and making my bed. Actually, I DID sleep on it as soon as I finished putting it together…and woke up hours later covered in drool. Yeah, this thing is the real deal. I’m so pleased with the performance of this topper. It fits my twin mattress perfectly and doesn’t give you that weird feeling of “you’re gonna fall off” when you sleep on the edge of it (like some air mattresses do). It also looks really nice and elegant. The topper itself is super soft, so if you were to just throw some sheets directly on top of it, it would probably feel heavenly. I want this thing to last, so I put it on under my mattress protector. It is still insanely comfortable. It supports my frame perfectly. I attribute some of that to my having an extra firm (and springy) mattress underneath, but this mattress topper definitely carries the comfy score 100%. I would wake up with terrible pain in my hips if I slept in my bed for more than 10 hours. I don’t experience that with this mattress topper. One of the biggest highlights for me is the potential for back sleeping. I avoid sleeping on my back because I ALWAYS experience nightmares/sleep paralysis when I do. I’ve gone to sleep on my side with this topper and woken up on my back in the morning - and I was not awoken by nightmares. Don’t ask me for a scientific explanation on that because I don’t have one. All I can say is that this mattress topper is awesome in numerous ways. Overall: I would highly recommend this topper for everyone, especially plus size folk like myself. It has been wonderful for both side and back sleeping. I can’t say much for tummy sleepers, but that’s not great for your health anyway, so I’m not gonna try it. I almost wish I could go back in time to before I bough this so I could experience the bliss of sleeping on it for the first time. Do yourself and your body a favor - don’t cheap out. Get the good mattress topper for the extra however many dollars. Your body and brain will thank you.

I debated between the tempurpedic and the viscosoft topper. Decided to go with the viscosoft because the price is significantly less. The topper immediately expanded with no issues and was basically ready to use within a hour of taking it out of the box, there was off gassing and the typical mattress smell for the first 24-48 hours. I put it on a new memory foam mattress that was just too firm. The viscosoft topper has been so comfortable, I literally don't want to get out of bed. I myself only weigh 92 lbs and my significant other is 220 lbs. It's very hard for us to come to agreement on a mattress or topper as everything for me is not soft enough and everything to him is too soft and he sinks in. I can happily report that he loves this topper just as much as I do! Even though I don't weigh much I still feel my body sinking in just enough to be comfortable and supportive. I no longer wake up feeling sore and am getting much better sleep. I placed a cooling mattress protector over it and it seems okay, not overly hot. Because of how soft/plush the foam is I am concerned about how long it will last. With blankets, sheets, mattress protector, and the topper cover on the memory foam I still have concern that my pets jumping on and off the bed could rip or tear the foam. Time will tell how long it lasts.

This topper is great and has helped us out a lot since we got it about 2 months ago. At first it's super weird, since it's real memory foam and has that odd hard feeling when touching it, but then as soon as you sit on it, or lay on it, it quickly relents and the foam forms to your body like a glove, providing amazing support. The first 2-3 nights was really just about getting used to how different it feels compared to your normal bed mattress. Because it forms to your body and more weight and pressure points quickly, it's almost like a feeling of sinking into quick sand, haha. But you quickly get used to that, and after 3-5 days, it's normal and doesn't feel that weird anymore. It's also kind of hard to roll over and move once your body has stopped moving, as the foam forms to your body. So it's a little harder to roll over and get into another position, but it's not a deal breaker or bad. Just something to be aware of, and it's actually good, because that means it's doing it's job and forming to your body shape. Then after that, it's smooth sailing. Seems to be made really well and of high quality materials. Before we decided on this mattress topper (after LOTS of research), we were not sleeping well most nights and had pain in our body. It woke us up in the middle of the night and early in the morning often and it was hard to get a full nights sleep without waking up or having pain in the morning. After looking through the tons of choices, we decided on this one for a few major reasons. - Seems to be made of a very high quality memory foam, not the cheap fake stuff - The cover over the topper is nice and also has a cooling gel material in it (which actually works) - The thickness is perfect. Not too thin, not too thick. Still works with most sheets - Priced well for what it is. I higher quality topper. It's not the best one, and it's not a cheap one. It's a competitively priced high quality topper and I can't imagine many other more expensive products being a whole lot better. Only marginally better possibly - And obviously it has lots of positive reviews that seem real (whether they are or not is debatable) So since we've been using this topper, we've noticed we fall asleep easier and faster. We stay asleep longer with less waking up. We don't roll around and move as much. Our shoulders and back don't hurt as much. And we can actually sleep in some days when we have time. Overall it's helped out quite a bit, but just want to preface that by saying, it's not a miracle working solution. I still have aches and pains in my body from sleeping 8 or more hrs, and it's not like since we bought this, we magically sleep like a teenager again. But... it is MUCH better than just the mattress and has changed our sleeping for the better. To put some quantitative numbers on this, I'd say with just our old mattress vs with the topper would look like this: 1 horrible/5 best Ability to sleep without tossing and turning Mattress: 2 out of 5 Topper 4 out of 5 Ability to sleep without waking up all the time Mattress: 2 out of 5 Topper 4 out of 5 Sleeping on your side without massive shoulder pain Mattress: 1 out of 5 Topper 4 out of 5 Comfort Mattress: 2 out of 5 Topper 4.5 out of 5 Support of your body Mattress: 1.5 out of 5 Topper 4.5 out of 5 Overall it's a great topper and so far so good. Might do a long term review update in a year or two just to see how well it's holding up. But so far, it's great and we love it!

I was hesitant that anything could resolve the problem with my back pain that my mattress was causing me. I had purchased this memory foam mattress prior to my knee surgery this past week in the hope that it could help my overall comfort during recovery. Not only has it helped my back, but it has been a very comfortable recovery so far. The mattress is thick, good quality, the fit was good and the firmness was just right for me. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Like others who choose to buy those product I have a sleep number bed circa 2016. We paid $8,400 for a split king. I absolutely never found my right number. My husband has always fluctuated between moderately firm to firm as I felt trapped by a massive purchase. Recently I finally decided I needed to do something besides replacing my half of the bed. I researched and researched and after recently sleeping on a Purple mattress which was heavenly I thought yep I could deal with the memory foam. I ordered a 3-in. It does have a little bit of an off smell now that it's been about 6 days after the video. It's probably the only thing I'm not a fan of but I know it's not a strong as the day I unpacked it. I am a size 14 and I sink in pretty well. And I don't have any real problem flipping from side to side or getting up. And while it's made the mattress so much more comfortable, I might have overdone the thickness. But you know it's only been five nights total. I think it's a little early. What I do like is that while sleeping on my side my arm hasn't fallen asleep which almost always happened no matter how I had my sleep number set. I also absolutely know I haven't been having pressure points at my hips or knee. That too is wonderful. The only area that hasn't had big change is my lower back which is just a good back that has had a few surgeries and it's challenged at times. So I might be asking for a lot for this to be the game changer but it does have potential. I also adore that this model comes with straps and frankly I loved that the cover already came on the foam piece... Some brands come with just the foam and you have to put (or not) a slipcover on it. Or it comes with a slipcover separate and I'm just of no mind to struggle with the initial set up!! I let it air out for 48 hours. I had it in our guest room with the ceiling fan going and after 24 hours flipped it over so the other side would air out... I think the smell is going to go away probably in another week. Anyway we got it on top of my side of the bed. (BTW, the twin XL is very one person friendly... But when the weight and the piece of the foam is unrolled and unsquished it becomes a little more gangly so if you're working on stairs it's probably smart to have somebody working with you.) I adjusted the straps to be pretty snug. Five sleeping nights later, and I get in and out of bed at least three times during the night, the piece has stayed put. If you do use the sleep number bed and sleep number sheets-- I have read that some people thought it pushes the limits of the sheets but my sheets fit exactly perfectly with this 3-in topper. I have no other memory foam or hybrid to compare this to so I really cannot say how it compares. But I'm giving it 5* because it really seems to be exactly what it's advertised to be. The price is more than fair for this twin XL size. I happen to really like the cover and it seems to all be staying on my bed okay. So I guess I'd say it's a good risk to take.

Like being cuddled and sleeping on a cloud! We purchased the 4" because my husband is around 230#, we replaced A tempuredic topper with this 4" viscosity ,it was time to replace after 5 yr of use! The viscosoft seems softer but it cradles my body with comfort! No aches or pains easier to turn on my side! Good for side sleepers and back sleepers. Give it a few days to expand to its full 4" !Everyday it gets even better for sleep! I do sleep hot so i do use wonderful sheex sheets and use a cool mattress protector which all help! My husband has no complaints hes in love with this topper! This topper went on sale 3 days after i bought it! I emailed customer service to ask for a credit and they were so gracious to say they would review and i am happy to say they refunded the difference! Very kind of them! I think if you buy this topper you will be very satisfied ! This company seems to care and has integrity ! Hard to find these days ! They were very helpful to me!

This mattress topper is totally changing my sleep for the absolute better! We have been sleeping on a very firm latex mattress that we got probably a decade ago. My husband and I prefer firm mattresses but it was starting to feel unsupportive. Lots of aches and pains! Decided to try a mattress topper before buying a new mattress. I believe this was described somewhere as a firm topper. To me it isn't firm, because you do sink into it a bit when you are on top, but it is supremely supportive! It feels like a hug. It erased my back pain by night 2 of sleeping on it, I couldn't believe it. I purchased the 4 inch topper because it could get to me quicker. I'm really glad I got that thickness. I'm sure 3 inches would have been fine, but I think 2 inches would not have made a significant difference. This fit perfectly on top of our king size bed and our sheets made for deep mattresses also fit perfectly. We slept on it the first night. There was a very slight odor, but not bad or nothing that kept us from sleeping on it. So far this seems like a very very high quality mattress topper that I hope we can use for a few years! All I know is that I was very sore before I started sleeping on this and now I'm not. Sold!
