Red star is made better then the cap
My previous "Mao cap" was the type ordinary REAL people in China wore and had a stamp in Chinese on the underside white fabric! This one is literally a costume piece which I'm afraid to perspire in or use normally like my old "people's" cap. Surely there are some still in use in rural China? If not "real Mao caps" could be sourced from North Korea I'm more certain.

Good quality, but small.
It is a very good quality hat and the star is nice too, it is a pin to you can replace it with other things however my only complaint is that it is a bit small fitting very tightly. Overall very good though.

Good for a smaller head
The quality was good but the size was on the smaller side making it a very very tight fit

WAAAAAY to small
This is obviously for children, which is strange since no >10 year old I know knows who Mao Zedong was, atleast the pin is easily repurposed

Tight on the head.
Overall not so bad, only thing is that it won’t fit you so well if your head size is above 6-7”.

Cheap piece of ....
It's not adjustable in size. You have to pin on the star, which is very difficult to do because of the cheap construction of the pin clasp.
