Perfect on Bala Lake. Easy to use, assemble and erect! 2 oars are great as well. Seats come loose from time to time but you could put a knot in the straps. 2 adults no problem and stayed up! Well worth every penny!!

Fantastic product for the price. Arrived early and in a compacted box. Easy to assemble and instructions were easy to follow. The kayak also comes with a good hand pump and puncture kit. The kayak looked stable in the water with two easy adjustable seats for comfort .It has two (one at each end) plastic handles which makes it easy to carry .It looks good and is great fun. Would definitely recommend to others.

Seating position difficult to get right or you end up with your feet above your bum. Instructions do not tell you how to fit these, the straps can be lengthened to move the rear seat back (or forward by shortening, if you are solo-ing), Hydro Force do a more expensive (& heavier) boat which has rigid seats, I am going to look for a pair of these to replace the inflatable ones or use a foam 'booster cushion'! The small valves on the seats and the deck-covers don't have non return valves so you have to whip the hose out while still pumping but they're easy enough to close and don't leak. Generally the boat is better made than I expected, including the paddles which assemble very easily and are sturdy. It is a bit tight for two tall adults and close to the wieght limit but I got it because I wanted a narrow one (easier to paddle), and it inflates easily & is relatively light compared to other makes of same size. Everything is a compromise.

The prices of this and similar models vary wildly at the moment as inflatable Kayaks seem very popular as the weather improves. But direct from Amazon at around £80 this is great value for money. This inflatable kayak is supplied in a large branded box that contains the kayak, two collapsable double-ended oars, 4 drip rings, a small plastic keel (Skeg), two inflatable seats, securing ropes, and instructions. There is no pump or lifejackets in the package but everything else is there. It is made from strong vinyl and is large enough to accommodate one or two adults when inflated up to 160kg which looks realistic. It is far easier to store and transport than a traditional kayak or canoe as it is inflatable and while it is not as durable it is fine for casual use and messing around on the water. It is easy to inflate although you will require a pump with suitable fixings, not a problem for me as I have one and they are cheap on Amazon. It is quite substantial when inflated measuring about 9 foot long and 3 foot wide. The oars are sturdy and are supplied with drip rings and while they could be a little longer are fine for casual use. It tracks well in the water with the skeg helping this and while you would not want to use it on rough water or during high winds it feels stable on our local river The Hamble. There is a ridge on top where the sides are sealed that can be uncomfortable but you can avoid it with practice and the seats are a bit flimsy but this is a workable kayak for 2 people costing £80 and is fine for river use. There were no leaks when I left it overnight and it is a generous size for one person and has sufficient room for myself as a 6 footer and my 5-foot 4-inch wife to enjoy it together. The drip rings on the oars could be bigger and you will get splashed but overall we had great fun with it and found it easy to deflate and pack away in the car when we finished. This is a great way to find out if kayaking is for you without spending too much money. It is well made compared with others at this price point and includes the essentials apart from a pump. Just make sure you don't overpay!

Did the job for paddling down a canal

I purchased this kayak for a trip to Scotland. The kayak was easy to inflate- even for me! It feels sturdy and of good quality however, I struggled to work out what to do with the seats. They inflated okay and appeared easy to attach but I could not work out how to make the seat backs secure. No matter what I did, the seats flopped back. I will do sooner further research and update my review once I know what to do. Great purchase for first timers

Bought it as a Christmas present for my mum but she has only been able to use it this week for the first time. As we were blowing it up we noticed 2 holes underneath which were deflating it as we were trying to inflate! Either the holes were already there or the material of the kayak can’t handle a couple of stones! You would think it would be okay near stones as everywhere to kayak around me has stones where you inflate it! Very very disappointed as we couldn’t even use it once without it going down while she was on the water!

No pump, the PSI guage measurer is no use because if you use it the kayaks would bend and be under inflated, not much faith in puncture repair patches, would buy your own Ropes are poor quality, replace with decent rope., also invest in bigger oar rings to stop watr going u sleves HOWEVER the good parts outweighs the negatives. looks professional and sits well even pn small rapids although not advisable if you lack experience. Loads of space for 1 or 2, should last many years as feels durable , mega cheap for quality, consider buying mozzy face nets if Kayaking in Scotland.
