Wi-Fi Smart Door and Window Sensor, No Hub Required, Voice Activated, Battery Operated, White, 50274

Overall the product seems to do exactly what it was designed for (Still early as we just received), telling me when a door is open or closed.There was 2 issues with the product however.1. The packaging was covered in more dirt than I can find in my garden. After opening the package from amazon I grabbed the product out of the box and was immediately coated in dirt. It looks like someone dug this thing up from their backyard, through it in a box and shipped it.2. The battery inside is already almost dead. After opening the sensor and removing the plastic around the battery, I connected this thing to the app. Even before I got any other notifications it notified me the battery is almost dead. So now after purchasing the device I must go buy another battery to ensure it is not just a door decoration. Battery should not shipped house in the device, but rather should ship along with the screws and adhesive tape to ensure battery is not drained in storage/shipment.

I really wanted to love this product,. If it worked correctly, I would. I love that no hub is required. Unfortunately, the batteries in the interior are not securely held in place, so every time I open or close my door the batteries get easily jostled out of where they’re supposed to be. This results in a loss of connection and the sensor no longer working. I’ve tried and tried to correct this, but unfortunately I haven’t been able to. Very disappointing.

Devices do not work

The batteries that came with this are crap. They lasted a week and died. But since putting in Lithium batteries, I haven’t had to change them.I like the alerts on my iPhone when the door opens or closes.Wish there was more connections to other smart home devices.I use Globe smart lights and it’s be nice if when the door opens the lights went on. However, this smart door sensor doesn’t do that.It just reports to you when the door is opened and closed.

I am using this to trigger a light to turn on when I open the garage door. It has delay for 2 secs to turn on the light (using Globe bulb) after door was opened. The notifications is great from the Globe suite app to alert the door is open or close. Just can't serve what I need. Overall it is a good product but works with globe products only.

Everything about this is cheap. Worthless garbage. Cheapest plastic available. Adhesive doesn't stick well so it falls off the door. That's a bad combo. Doesn't really work with Google assistant, though it shows up in the app. This is a dollar-store level product. And that's being really mean to dollar stores.

The media could not be loaded.  Install was ok. The product works as it should. but the battery life is absolutely terrible. Don't buy unless you have a minimum of 2 brand new sets of AAA batteries. One for the device and one to keep charged for when you get the low battery notification the next day. If I didnt need it id return it. I had to buy rechargeable batteries the next day so I dont know if its worth the value

TERRIBLE! Have owned these 2 sensors for a week and still cannot get them to work. I sent an email and left a phone message on the customer help line and no response to date! That too has been a week with no response. Would not recommend. Product syncs then goes offline then syncs then goes offline. With no support system in place how does this company sell products.
