Lattafa Opulent Musk for Women Eau de Parfum Spray, 3.4 Ounce

I received my order of Opulent Musk a day early, in perfect condition 😊. The packaging and the perfume bottle were gorgeous. It was a blind buy but came highly recommended by one of my favorite YT fragrance reviewers.When I unboxed and sprayed it, I was surprised by the prominent notes of fresh fir and cedarwood resins. It definitely was quite woody. Thankfully, I detected no gasoline-like smell. I didn’t instantly love it but I liked it a lot because it smelled fresh and invigorating while being different from what I usually like.My first impression was that of a somewhat sweet smelling fir Christmas tree. The scent was pretty intense, possibly because I am an oversprayer. I put it back in the box and let it rest a few days. Now every time I try it, I like it more and I only spray it a couple of times. It’s a definite “no no” for my work but a great fresh scent to enjoy at home and on my nature walks.I tried layering it with some jasmine attar to emphasize the floral and diminish the woody notes. It worked well all the way down to the dry down.I can see how this can be a “love it or hate it at first sniff” fragrance. If you buy it and dislike it, give it some time, let your olfactory sense develop appreciation for a wider range of fragrance compositions.I don’t recommend it as a safe blind buy because of its strong and unusual fragrance. Some will enjoy it and some will not. It would be best to get a small sample first and then make a decision. That being said, for the price, Opulent Musk is a great purchase, a very good and interesting perfume, and definitely worth a try.

First of all, the bottle is really beautiful. It has a really good scent, it's not overwhelming or too strong to use as an everyday fragrance. I'm just waiting to see what others think of it.

Smells terrible. I was hoping it would smell similar to the body shops white musk but it smells like a cross between old lady perfume and men's cologne. Thank goodness it wasn't expensive because it can't be returned. The smell lingers forever which would be a plus if it smelled good but it's awful!

There is a slight under-scent (is that a word?) or hot tar (oddly specific, but that's what it is!) that prevents me from giving this 5 stars. The overall scent is a very heavy musk - sweet and powdery - with a bit of tobacco. I love the overall scent and it lasts FOREVER. Like 5 hours after ONE spray, I can still smell it.I really wish that hot tar undercurrent (barely there, but once you smell it, you cannot un-smell it) wasn't there!

This is a sexy fresh vibe! I smell Light Leather, Sweet Citrus, and a Touch of Wood. The quality is good as it is by Lattafa. Wearability is unisex. The dry down is the same, but a hint of powder is then detected. This is an everyday, all year around, day, and night scent. Four hours have passed, and I can still smell it. Complimented only at initial spray. Very much like Baccarat Rouge 540 but with a little twist.

Great packaging, beautiful bottle and honestly enjoyable presentation in general, a great cap and a good design bottle to prevent any leaks when you spray the fragrance it honestly smells like pure chemicals for the first 5 to 10 seconds although it seems to go away after that, there’s still a small hint of it and will hinder the way you smell it. It’s definitely a nice sweet fragrance, but too artificial and two chemical.I would recommend 9 PM intensely with you or club de nuit if you’re looking for a good sweet winter scent.This this perfume also has a small scent of a sunscreen smell I would say if you’re gonna buy this, make sure to pair it with another fragrance or we’re not too much of it. Small spritz or projects well

It’s definite a unique take on BR540 with a citrus note to it. It has the BR540 DNA where u smell that slightly sweet musky powdery-ness that it has in the dry down. It has a alchohol scent first spray but goes away after a minute.I don’t smell gasoline like what others are talking about .it has a very faint leathery note in the dry down .If you’re not into leather smells u might think of it as gasoline. For the price this it good and the scent is of niche quality. U won’t smell it much on your skin after a while but people can smell it on u especially if u walk by them.

1- This fragrance is "marketed" as for women when the truth is not, this is a great UNISEX fragrance. Most of the Middle Eastern (Arabian) Perfumes are UNISEX with the exception of few ones2- The reason behind my 2 stars rating on this particular fragrance is because I have received a defective bottle. As soon as I have started to sprayed the perfume it leaked out the fragrance around the metal neck piece that actually holds and seals in place the sprayer (atomizer) and this is not meant to happen when the final product is boxed and sealed.3- Overall, the fragrance projects decent and delicate yet still musky and gives me the sensation as if I've just showered as it has a gentle and delicate soapy on the background. Perfect to use all year round.
