The best I ever tried
Tried many types of file handles of the years. This is the best. It cuts into the tang of the file. And will not let go.

I always look for a file handle that screws on

Tiny threads
You should really advertise this as a chainsaw file handle. Any flat file over 6" in length has a tang to wide to fit the threads. Kept them to use on my chainsaw files.

Decent but don't hold the file handle extremely well.

Does not hold small files that it was designed for. They constantly slip out. Either the description is wrong or it is a bad design which is hard to believe for a Nicholson product.

Great handle
I purchased this handle not for a file, but as a replacement for a missing handle on a sharpening steel. I removed the metal insert and it fit perfectly.
