Unreal Dark Chocolate Coconut Mini Bars 15.3 OZ

This is basically an unsweetened Mounds Bar. That’s not to say there’s no sweetness, just that it’s very mild, very toned down. You taste the coconut, the chocolate, you get the texture… but without being smacked in the taste buds with sugar. And no chemically fake-sugar flavor, either. So it’s a nice treat. Not cheap, but a slightly healthier choice than a Mounds.

I have been trying to keep sugar out of my diet. But I still love my sweets. My son bought this for me from a grocery store. I love coconut and I love chocolate. What's not to love about this candy?! It's delicious and its made with organic ingredients.

I love these. They are delicious. The size is small but taking two or maybe three..shh..with me is nice. My issue with these is the cost. They have less ingredients then typical chocolate coconut bars yet cost two to three times as much. I feel they could definently increase the bar size and quantity for the price. Unfortunately with money slowing lately, these are just out of the question due to cost for the time being. But will keep an eye out for discounts in the future.

Was searching for the coconut patties that I was longing for since moving from South Florida. So glad I found these ! The dark chocolate is high quality and the coconut is perfect. They are NOT a sugar bomb like the ones I remember, and I am very glad. This are fresh, pure and UNreal.

This is one of my favorite candies, however this shipment was not up to usual standard. When I brought the package inside and opened it I discovered that the chocolate had bloom all over outside, don’t know if warmth (not melted) or what caused it. It looks old, It still tastes good but not as fresh as it should

This batch is apparently old stock as all of the pieces had "chocolate bloom" also known as "fat bloom" which gives the chocolate a white blotchy coating. Mainly this is caused by heat cycling. The white marks appear when fat particles in the chocolate separate due to cold or hot temperatures. The fat rises to the surface of the chocolate through small cracks. If you store chocolate in a place that is too cold or too warm, the so-called 'fat bloom' will materialize. Was not nearly as fresh or delicious as when I first purchased this product at Costco. Yes, the chocolate is "edible" but not nearly as enjoyable. Beware this seller.

I have had this product before and enjoyed it, so I purchased a larger bag this time. Unfortunately, this bag is so old that the chocolate no longer looks dark and has the white coating that develops when chocolate is near or past it's expiration date. (The expiration date on this bag is April 2023) I've attached photos of the chocolate, and the second photo of the bottom of the bar demonstrates the difference between what it should look like (the dark center) versus what it has degraded to look like. I took the gamble of tasting it since the expiration date says April 2023, and it tastes old as well. Given the cost of this product, I expect better quality and will not purchase this again. It's a shame because it's hard to find quality ingredients, and this used to be a good product.
