The old purse (3 years strong) was otherwise in great condition despite overfilling and abuse
I upgraded from a smaller eaglecreek hiking purse I got on clearance at REI once some tea leaves spilled in it and I never managed to get the smell out. The old purse (3 years strong) was otherwise in great condition despite overfilling and abuse. I'm a big eaglecreek fan for the security and durability. This purse DEFINITELY lives up to expectations. You could probably shove a loaf of bread in there. Carry two or three kittens.Fits a kindle, an ipad mini, a large rechargeable battery, 3 smaller rechargeable batteries, a camera, a 3DSXL, a vogmask, a notebook, 2 charger cables, 2 pairs of headphones and an mp3 player in the main pouch. My neck regretted the weight, of course, but it was for science. All the extra pouches hold various odds an ends a lady would have, like a large knife with rope cutter and glass breaker, a taser, hand sanitizer, a few lipsticks, an inhaler, nail file, small mirror, a protein bar, a personal alarm, a few chapsticks of mysterious planar existence.... all outside of the main section. Most of the zippers are security-style. The main pouch and the front pouch under the flap (where the RFID blocking pouch is) have the stick-and-loop style zippers (the main pouch is stick-and-loop plus the hoops you can zip-tie together) and the others are smaller and easy to loosen or have no security. Keep your valuables in those main ones. The Wallet is especially hard to get to under the plastic clasp and security zippers and velcro'd in. Someone would have to steal your purse or you'd have to abandon it for you to get your wallet pick-pocketed.The shoulder strap is fully adjustable and there's also a nice little handle. The material is splash-proof and has kept everything bone dry even in the pouring rain. There's also plenty of places to hang keychains or mace on the outside of the bag. A high-quality purse like this is really essential for the modern not-happening-again kinda women. This purse is serious business. Plus with how much crap I have in there, it's a pretty good blunt weapon.Honestly would render a carry-on bag useless if I ever traveled. This could fit a hardback original copy of harry potter and the goblet of fire.I've thrown it off the second story with no damage. Straps caught in the car door never even phase it. Pretty certain it had motor oil on it at one point.Listen, if you need a one-bag-fits-all utilitarian purse to last the ages, this is a freaking great bag. I bet even my cat's ridiculous raptor claws can't touch this bag. I could sneak a bottle of soda and a bag of popcorn into the theatre with this thing if I was so inclined. I'm pleased, okay? Happy customer.Shoulder strap could be better if it had a pad though, but those do look kind of dopey. it's sharp after a day's wearing.

This is a perfectly nice, not-too-large shoulder bag to carry a tablet to ...
This is a perfectly nice, not-too-large shoulder bag to carry a tablet to the coffee shop, use as carry-on item on a plane, or just lugging an assortment of little things around in the city. My (non-pro) Surface 3 tablet fits just fine into the padded pocket in the back; the same goes for pretty much any other tablet and maybe even something like the 11” MacBook Air (I didn’t try that, but it seems like it should fit in). It’s not big enough for full-size laptops though. There is another padded pocket in the front, which will hold a smartphone - as long as that is not phablet-sized anyway; my 5.7” phone just barely fits.Overall though the bag is perfect for my needs. Materials and quality are top-notch, too.

Great day bag for travelling
Been using Eagle Creek products for travel for over 20 years. This bag is perfect as a day bag for traveling. I use it all the time. All of my important things close at hand with security zippers, gives me a piece of mind that I have not been pick pocketed.

Just OK.
I have an green Eagle Creek bag and wanted to replace it with same thing. This bag was as close as I could find.It is signficantly less than my older one. It's fine to use as a purse, but the other one is really exceptional and of samedesign as one I had before the nylon fabric and went all over Europe with it -- great compartments, wasn't large, yet couldpack everything needed for an overnight to two. This one misses the mark in big ways: no zip compartment on one side and mess water bottle compartment on theother side.If I'd known Eagle Creek was not going to keep a perfect design, I'd have bought three of my older one!

It's not love, but it's not bad.
This Eagle Creek bag is well made, reasonably priced, and its compact size belies its storage capacity. If you're looking for an unfussy, utilitarian bag, this is going to do the job.

Eagle Creek Guide Pro Courier RFID Bag
I love this Eagle Creek Guide Pro Courier RFID bag. It’s perfect for carrying a iPad 3 for studying, small items during your day, or to take hiking. I have had mine for 2 years and had a similar bag 5-7 years before that. Great product that lasts.

Couldn't have been happier with this purchase
Bought this for a trip to Spain, and also used it for a trip to NYC. I was able to fit a small tablet, water bottle and a few other items in the bag, plus the front pocket for wallet and passport. Couldn't have been happier with this purchase. Wish it was a little less expensive, but it is a great bag!

awkward in that it slides off the shoulder easily, and the strap itself feels cheap
I bought this for a trip abroad and tried it at home first for couple of days. By day two I realized it was a big fail. It is no as well made as other Eagle Creek products I have purchased. The connectors, clips, key ring attachment are flimsy plastic. The strap is very wide, awkward in that it slides off the shoulder easily, and the strap itself feels cheap. The real trouble is when you pack a device, which the main reason I wanted it. It fits an iPad air but makes all other pockets difficult to either put things in or get out. The front flap takes one hand to hold it open while you try to unzip the other pocket to get something. If you leave any pocket unzipped the contents fall out. Finally, this bag seems to mean a security risk while traveling because of difficult access. Complete waste of money.

Works for me.
As a frequent traveller the various airline company cabin baggage restrictions have often meant a challenge to accessibility and security of pre and in flight essentials. This bag has provided the solution to these issues for me. Big enough to keep electricals, book, wallet, keys drink and light lunch while being compact enough to fit easily into cabin sized suitcase too. Plenty of secure pockets, well made and fit for purpose. A great bag.
