Q: All the new packaging indicates it was made in Mexico. The original boxed soap was made in USA.. there is a difference in quality . What’s going on???

The packaging is not the only thing that's changed. Lever 2000 does not later up the way that it did in the past––so, I think the formula has changed also. Not so good ingredients and surrounding environment equals a not so nice product. I stopped using them because of the lack luster suds-ability.

Q: what happen to the original bar that smelled good and lathered up nicely?

They no longer make it. They changed the formula and the newer version is now made in Mexico. This newer version is terrible (very little lather, it feels grainy, it smells bad) If you look at the Lever2000 site online you will see hundreds and hundreds of 1 star ratings for this new version. I wrote to the company and received a canned answer.

Q: If I order more Lever 2000 bars from you, are they still original formula or are they the newer made in Mexico bars?
