DELIGHTED with this Oolong Tea!!! 12th GALLON made, and STILL great Aroma, Color-n-Flavor.
Soon as this arrived, I opened up the Red Container this came in, took a Deep Inhale to get the Aroma, and was very pleased with it. I got my Distilled Water heated up to +195F in my Microprocessor Controlled, Calibrated Tea Kettle, added it to the Oolong Tea Leaves, and allowed to Steep for 3 minutes. After letting it cool down a bit, the color was a Medium Brown, and the Aroma had Earthy Tones, but the best part was the TASTE... it was not too strong, not too weak, and NO BITTERNESS (at all)... it was just right, at the GOLDILOCKS State, and I FELL IN LOVE with it!!! This is a Truly Wonderful Oolong Tea, of Great Value for the Cost/Performance Ratio, and I am VERY PLEASED. This TIAN HU SHAN Premium Oolong Tea Loose Leaf 14 Ounce (400g) is grown in Mainland China, at the 800-meter level altitude (about +2,500ft), so there's no Insects up there, and doesn't require using Pesticides. I consider this a "High Mountain Grown Tea", with all the benefits of that Altitude. It's not THE BEST, but for the Price, it PUNCH'es Way Over It's WEIGHT CLASS!!! This Tea is a Super VALUE price/performance/color/taste. Very Pleased with this Oolong!!! I am now on my 12th GALLON of this TIAN HU SHAN Premium Oolong Tea Loose Leaf, and will be ordering my Next One, very soon. I Love the Metal Container and Plastic Cover Seal, which keeps the Tea FRESH, and Ready to Rock-n-Roll for my next GALLON. I think this is THE BEST Tea you offer, of the four I have tried (still not tried the Pearls, yet, but that one's on my List too!!). This Oolong Tea is, imho, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. v/r "The TEA Spectator" :o) UPDATE: March 6, 2025 - I've just ordered another one of these, in case the price starts going UP UP and UP into Outter Space, for Political Reasons between America and China, I'll have enough TIAN HU SHAN Premium Oolong Tea Loose Leaf 14 Ounces into 2026. The Tea is so well packed and sealed, that as long as I keep it in a Cool, Dry, Dark place, it should be just fine. Let's hope and pray for Peace and Prosperity for ALL, and continue to enjoy drinking this wonderful China Oolong Tea. v/r, The Tea Spectator ;o)

Absolutely wonderful flavor - like appreciating good wine... and beautiful packaging
Absolutely wonderful flavor and aroma -- little cups of warmth and comfort! On top of it, the tin is beautiful -- high quality tea and packaging shows care to preserve the flavor and freshness. I add a spoonful in a kettle and let it steep for 5 min. then have first batch -- really nice, full flavored. I keep making batches with same spoonful 3-4 times and each reveals different layer. Definitely beyond value for money. Will buy as gift for other tea lovers!

Tastes wonderful, can steep/infuse multiple times
I enjoy the Oolong tea very much. The tin is double-sealed and pretty sturdy. I am no tea aficionado, but this is a world better than the restaurant grade Oolong I am used to. It is very much more subtle and less bitter, lighter in color and body. I am not sure, but I think there is a noticeable amount of caffeine. One surprise for me was just how much this variety of loose tea expands while steeping. I use an infuser that can do one cup or a whole pot. I usually put about 1/2tsp of loose leaf in it. Doing that with this tea means the infuser is packed solid when I open it to dump it out. They really do roll the leaves down to nothing!

Not the best I've ever had, but still very good
I've been getting into premium teas lately, but I'm still pretty new. I know an Assam from a Ceylon, a Darjeeling from an English Breakfast; I know an Orange Pekoe is neither orange flavored nor colored, but I'm nowhere close to an expert. So my father had sent me a sample of very excellent teas - I don't want to name the brand, because this isn't their review, but the initials are LRC. The first letter is the opposite of 'big' the middle letter is a color. Anyway, in the sample pack, one of them was far and away my favorite - it is was "Jade Oolong". I had tried several Oolong teas, and I know they are sort of mid-way point between green and black on the oxidation scale, but all the ones I had previously tried had been on the darker side, and this Jade Oolong from LRC was more green. Not green tea, just greener than all the others I had tried, and I just loved it. I went to order more, and woah, it's not inexpensive! I'm still going to order some, but it will be for special occasions. What to do for a daily drinker? So when I saw this, and it looked to be similar, I decided to try it. This is a much more affordable option, it's a big can, I can drink it every day and not worry about it. I LOVE that it comes in a metal tin. It is darker than the LRC Jade Oolong, but not by much, and it retains a lot of the flavors I love. In other words, it's a fantastic daily drinker.

Tastes like lawn clippings
This tea is packaged beautifully and truly taste like lawn clippings. I threw the whole thing out after brewing up two pots. I drink a lot of tea and won’t be buying this one again.
