Q: Is there a way to reduce the taste problem without adding a post filter?

I had the same issue. I installed a delivery pump to my RO system. The taste was good before I installed it. I flushed the system out for several minutes. And there was no taste to the water. I decided to move the pump to the "I" beam in my house to try and reduce the noise. After I moved it, the water taste like burnt plastic.

Q: warranty and does it come with reducer fittings? customers say No

From the description: 3/8” JG quick connect fitting for 3/8” OD tubing. Includes two 3/8” to 1/4” reducer fitting for 1/4" OD tubing I think the warranty is 90 days. Install it as soon as you receive it to be have it in use / under pressure.

The purpose and use of the dampener is to reduce the pulsation you are experiencing. The dampener should be installed just after the pump. The manufacturer has a set of instructions in the box with the dampener. The RO system water storage tank is not designed as dampener. The RO water storage tank is primarily used for collecting permeate (purified) water.
