Teva Men's Mush II Flip-Flop

I recently picked up a pair of Teva flip flops, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. From the moment I slipped them on, I could feel the difference in comfort. The footbed is incredibly cushioned and supportive, making them perfect for long walks, beach days, or just lounging around. What really impressed me was the fit—they hug my feet just right without feeling too tight or loose. They stay secure without that annoying flop some sandals have, and I never have to worry about blisters or discomfort. Teva has really nailed it with both style and functionality. Highly recommend if you’re looking for flip flops that offer both comfort and durability. These are easily the best pair I’ve owned!

I was reluctant to buy these after the negative reviews about the Mush II. Too many products have been "improved" to the benefit of the shareholder (improved profits) and not the user. These arrived a couple of days ago and I have played frisbee, walked the dog in the cemetery, and generally knocked around in them. They are nicely cushioned at this point, and the sole seems adequately stiff for shielding me from stones and flexible for movement of foot. The best for me was the closeness of fit to foot. I have worn flip flops since childhood, 50 years ago. I gradually learned that they are not boats. They only have to precisely cover the foot. If they are too big they are too lose and "floppy". They fly off the front of the foot if you are running to catch a frisbee or fleeing a rainstorm or dodging traffic. If they precisely cover the size of the foot they provide maximum adequate protection and they stay snuggly in place beneath your foot. I was worried about ordering, since I could not try them on. I generally have found that the "correct" size, when I try them in the store, is about a size smaller than my shoe size (10 - US). Fortunately the website listed sizes by various standards, including just measuring the foot length. Brilliant Idea! I measured by foot at 27 cm. and ordered a size 9, US. My rule of thumb worked again, and I could not be more satisfied with the fit. Whether they hold up over the rest of my life or just a year or two, I guess remains to be seen. If they last 2 years I will be paying about a dollar a month, which will be adequate value for me, Any life beyond that will be gravy.

First thing is first, I want to give "Champaign Surplus" a five (5) star rating for excellent shipping/service!! I ordered them before the start of normal business hours on a Friday and received them mid afternoon on Tuesday while using ONLY the super savings shipping. If you get a chance to buy from this company do so!! Again, THANKS to CHAMPAIGN SURPLUS!! Now about Teva Flip Flops, I've been sporting this brand and (similar) style for about 20 years and don't plan on stopping anytime soon. I consider myself a tough grader and I give these mush flops a grade of B+. To be picky, because in my opinion nothing is perfect, there are (only) two "issues" I have with this product. They just don't have lasting power. In all fairness I weigh in at around 260lbs, provided simply for a point of reference, but a pair of these flip flops usually only last me a single summer then serve as "around the house" kicks until the next summer. During summer/warm weather, I'd say I wear them on average 3 or 4 days per week and easily 8 hours per day. They are a great all day BBQ type setting show. When it gets colder outside, I probably wear them everyday but for only an hour or two. Usually by the time I am ready to break out a new pair the previous pair is so beat very little mush is left from my heels to my instep and the traction (or lack there of) is in even worse shape. Needless to say very little support mixed with a tendency to slip does not make for a quality product. The second issue can be a bummer especially for summertime use, they aren't exactly built for "near" water use. Don't get them wet!! I can handle the annoying squeaking sound they make, I can NOT handle how difficult it becomes to keep your feet in the flip flops. Don't get me wrong, puddles aren't a problem as long as your actual foot doesn't get wet. If the bottom of your actual foot gets wet it's game over. Until they dry, of course. The mush is great for shaping around your foot, when wet the mush becomes very slick. Bottom line: they usually cost between $20 and $25 and at that price it's a solid buy for the customer, if you can find them under $20 it's a winner!! As long as you don't plan on using them on a boat, or other aquatic activities, you should be good to go. I plan on buying them again and see no reason why you shouldn't give them a try if you haven't already.

extremely soft and comfortable and still supportive. well made. i have been using them for 2 seasons now. bought another pair .... just because :)
