I rarely collect action figures these days due to the insane costs and generally poor quality of work. However, I tend to make an exception when it comes to these Jakks BIG FIGS. Yes, they're still a little too pricey, but the sculpts are very nice and the paint applications are clean and not typically smeared as they are on lesser figures. This Superman BIG FIG is a good example. It's sturdy with a nice cloth cape and it actually looks like Henry Cavill, and not his long lost cousin, twice removed. I have it posed with his screen nemesis, Batman, high above my bookshelf like gods among men. Yes, I'm a geek.
