Our Buzz Balls are distinctly different from black "commodity" toy magnets sent directly from China. Over the past 20 years we have purchased & gifted, over 500 pairs of magnetic "Hematite" balls to the delight of all recipients. Buying from every brand & source available, we've experienced many quality issues, especially variations in size, shape & hardness. We set out to produce the best possible quality that we're proud to brand as Buzz Balls. More than just magnets, Buzz Balls are experiential, iconic & unique. To us, the whole package is important, as well as sharing the fun we've had with them and the forum for everyone to share their Buzz Balls experiences as well. The cost to produce these balls is more than 3X the cost of producing regular black "hematite" magnetic spheres. We researched 13 manufacturers before finding one that could produce our branded Buzz Balls to our exacting standards. We hand pick & pack each pair into their custom made pouch to ensure consistent quality. Producing the PU leather pouch was much more difficult than we realized it could be and ended up costing as much as the balls.
