I bought the 920-pound kit for my Sjobergs Original 1900 with storage cabinet, and they work great. The bench weighs over 250 pounds, and these casters handle it easily. They roll very smoothly and raise and lower the bench effortlessly.Installation was straightforward, and the design makes them easy to engage and disengage. I replaced the included screws with new ones from Home Depot, and even then, a few of the screw heads still broke. Whatever screws you use, be careful while installing to avoid snapping the heads off.When I was shopping, I read reviews on other caster sets, including those sold by woodworking supply companies. Some people pointed out that their 400 lb rating isn’t always enough because that’s the combined weight capacity across all four casters. Since you’re engaging one caster at a time, the first caster can end up supporting nearly the full weight of the bench by itself. That’s why I went with this heavier-duty set, and I haven’t looked back.

200 pound workshop table (without load) is no challenge for these casters! LOVE them!FYI - comes with a template card to show the exact height for install. But the card has a border, so I assumed that should be cut off (about 3/8 of an inch). After the first 2 I found that the wheels lift too much / require more effort for deployment than my liking. So for the remaining 6 wheels (installed a total of 8 across 2 tables) I did NOT trim the template card and used as is, which wound up with a preferable lift height (unfortunately one of my tables now lifts noticeably higher on one side when on wheels... ). TLDR: use the template as is, don't trim the border unless you need a bit more lift.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased the wheels for a small work bench that I bult for my work shop, they will work just fine for what I am doing. This is definitely not a high quality item which I knew when I ordered it. I would probably not order again and go for something that is better quality, it does not always pay to be cheap.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve bought many sets of workbench casters but the usual ones I buy weren’t available. I needed some quickly so I decided to try these. I really disliked them at first because they come disassembled. But I quickly realized this was a blessing in disguise! It’s always been difficult to install the assembled casters because the screws for the mounting plate are behind the other parts. With these casters, I installed the mounting plates first (using the provided template) and then added the wheel and other parts. They also seem sturdier than my old brand. Getting ready to order another set!

I haven’t sets of these retractable casters.I got really tired of my tablesaw and miter saw cabinet and stand moving around.First off it’s really dangerous, second it’s incredibly annoying.These easy install casters allow the cabinet, stand, and table to sit on the floor and doesn’t move.I highly recommend these retractable casters and the price is also right.I get nothing for saying these things other than I might make someone’s life a little easier and safer.

The wheels work very well and were easy to put on (and I am not a wood worker at all!). The best part was that the force required to push the lever down to roll and to release the table back to the ground is minimum and that was very gratifying! Great product - hope it will last for many years to come!

Haven’t installed them yet, they will work well for what I want to do.

These casters would work for a 3 or maybe 400 lb bench. They are NOT strong enough for anything more than that.I weighed my bench with a load cell at 450 lbs. they have not broken, but I need a 12” pair of multi grips to help move the levers which raise the wheels. The levers are simply not long enough to handle any more weight.Additionally the mounting template supplied doesn’t match the holes on the wheel supports properly WTF. Drill them using the actual assembly itself not the template which is off.If your workshop floor has the slightest bumps or ridges and a heavy bench they will be a pain.All that given, based on reviews they may well be better than the competitors out there.
