ULANZI ST-14

All metal, no plastic. This is a very well-made and engineered piece of photographic equipment, especially considering the price. Easy to set up and use on an Arca-Swiss style ball swivel, fitting perfectly, sliding on and off with ease. Haven't used it in the field, but setting it up and playing around with it at home, there should be no problems. Done correctly, everything locks down tight. There a few comments about the desktop support leg, mentioning that theirs don't sit flat and tend to lean forward a bit due to looseness. Once stable, these folks had no problems with stability. The one I got is firm right out of the box with no tendency to lean. Perhaps Ulanzi addressed this issue in newer shipments. My only concern about the desktop leg, is when it's placed in its slot when not in use and is under rough handling of the tripod, it may come loose and fall out. It seems secure enough, but again, I haven't yet tested it out in the field. I have a Samsung Galaxy S25 fitted with a rubber case that makes the phone pretty thick. I have no problems securing the phone in its clamp, as it opens up very wide. This is one of the reasons I picked the Ulanzi over others I was comparing it to. Plus, it looks Très chichi.

It feels solid and sturdy in hand and inspires confidence right away. I have been using it with an S25 Ultra and it holds the phone securely without wobble. Ulanzi did a great job designing this to be flexible in many scenarios. It works well on its own as a compact mini tripod, but it also shines when attached to a full size tripod, camera rig, or boom arm using the standard one quarter thread. The cold shoe is a very useful addition, making it easy to add a microphone or LED light for video or content creation. The adjustable clamp is easy to use and supports a wide range of phone sizes. Unlocking the extension is simple, and the side knob allows precise tightening of the jaws. The rubberized grip holds the phone firmly in place. The rear knob allows for smooth angle adjustments, and the full rotation makes switching between portrait and landscape effortless. When used standalone, the small support piece that slides into the base adds stability and is held securely by a magnet. At extreme angles it can tip over, which is expected for a compact setup like this. After long term use, the only minor issue I have seen is the magnet for the support piece eventually coming loose, something that looks easily fixable with glue. Overall this is a well built, versatile, and thoughtfully designed mount that works great for mobile photography and video. It is compact, portable, and a great value for the quality you get.

You can see and feel the quality of this product from the moment you take it out of the box. It’s 100% aluminum, nothing here is plastic. It’s seems very durable, sleek and functioning product. It looks and feels like a high end product that’s made in Italy. Clamps on smartphones with ease and has a ball head that makes rotation positioning very simple and quick. Also comes with a magnetic hidden desk top support leg that can hold a heavy smartphone in place without tipping over. I have it mounted on a Ulanzi MT-24 tripod (sold separately) and it’s a perfect combination of form and function. Best used with iPhones in a case. Otherwise, this is a good purchase.

Había comprado otro de la misma marca pero me costaba mucho poner el celular porque el agarre era de estirar y si lo soltabas se iba como elástico. Devolví y compré este, que sí, es más caro que el primero que pero el agarre maltrata mucho menos el celular y tiene para ajustar y hacer presión de forma manual y delicada. La bola permite también mover el celular al ángulo que uno necesite y los materiales son metálicos, se siente firmes, de buena calidad y duraderos. Es compatible con mi trípode Neewer.

Heat duty mount

I’ve had this phone clamp holder now for about six months and it’s held up really well. I really like it that you can tighten it down really nicely with a screw so that way there’s no chance that your phone will fall out with other cheap clams. that was always an issue. I’ve dropped my phone before with the cheap clamps and I decided to invest in this more expensive one made out of metal so far I have never had an issue with my phone falling out and I love the idea of having a cold shoe on top so I can put a light or a microphone up there . Definitely recommend this product.

Such good quality - I wasted money buying cheaper mounts. Just buy this! Save money in the long run and less stress :-) And....I received it overnight.
