Cantu Shea Butter for Natural Hair Leave In Conditioning Repair Cream, 12 Ounce

I gotta say my curls are easier to handle with this product on. You definitely need to buy another product to soften it out. My routine: I will take a bit of this product meanwhile my hands are a bit wet and start shaping my hair out starting from the root and go from there all the way to my hair tips. You still NEED to buy another product to hydrate or moisturize the hair. Personally after using this product I use a coconut whipped creme leave in conditioner from ren pure just to make sure it stays soft and moisturized. I’ve gotten even more compliments on my hair after I started using this two products and I love how my curls look now.Still please remember each curl is really different so what it worked like heaven for me probably won’t sometimes others my hair is thick and voluminous and my curls are something like a curly 3A (if you don’t know what I’m saying just look up types of curls of curls chart). Not only that but you also need to take on mind how your hair reacts in the weather you are in and even humidity.Best of lucks!

Don’t use too much. A little goes a long way.. but adds moisture and luster and makes it easier to comb through. Nice smell.Easy to use. Just rub into hands and run through hair.

Great product to keep hair soft and manageable! This product works very well on ethnic hair and people of Caribbean decent like myself! My hair has a tight curl and is very dry before I apply product! After I apply product daily, I am left with very soft and a nice curl pattern that is very manageable! I definitely recommend this product to also strengthen the hair because in addition to everything I described it also strengthens my hair and fights split ends so my hair grows faster as well!

For $12 this is damn good.First,I was curious to try this after seeing it in an Essence magazine-I must say that once I tried it I was completely satisfied.It's crazy because I mostly don't care about any type of magazine advertisement because I think they edit the model's hair with photo-shop or their hair may be a lace front or something.But I really needed something for my hair and I was glad to see something just for natural people.Let's face it-Cantu is a good affordable brand for African Americans like my self.very good.My hair type is a 3c and this moisture last in my hair for about 7-8 hours straight.Trust me I was astounded that I didn't have to re-moisturize for that long.I also noticed that it made my hair softer and easier to manage-THANK GOD.After moisturizing it I was shocked that when I combed and brushed my hair that the brush just slid through so smoothly like it was air or something.Like seriously it felt like baby's hair.Now we know that Shea butter is very good.On the container I think it said 100% Shea butter-and I can't believe I'm saying this but I think it's true.I really do.---However it will not work properly if you don't apply while it's damp first.This product is dependent on water.Don't damp your hair after you apply-always do it BEFORE.You can go to you dollar store and purchase a spray bottle and put water on your hair.Every morning before you apply you can spray your hair with water to have the best results.But overall i'm really satisfied with this product.It's very good to be $12.Good job Cantu!

All the hype is right. There's a reason most recommend this product. It works. After a wash, light layer right before you leave the house, allows you to adjust how much curl you want very easily and saves a lot of time compared to not using it at all. Keeps hair healthy and smells like something you'd want to eat... but don't eat it. Lol

I’ve tried lots of styling curl gels and this one is by far my favorite. My curls come out nicely and are not weighed done by greasy gels nor are they crunchy like gels tend to make them. This cream also smells like coconut so I feel like I’m at the beach. :)

Used this for a twist out, came out beautifully when paired with Cantu gel and a bit of jojoba oil

I used it for the first time today I'm not really sure if I like it or not I'm going to give it a few days I'm thinking I applied too much but for me it did not seem like it made my hair any softer actually it feels kind of dull kind of disappointed but I'll keep using it and see if it makes any difference
