Like a glove

I bought two of these last year for my wide-mouth nalgenes and they are great!! These are a perfect fit and they are way better than a splash guard insert. My one complaint is with the durability of the strap. Both of the lids that I bought have either broken or are in the process of breaking after less than a year of basic use. This could easily be fixed by making the strap out of silicone instead of polypropylene. If Humangear made this update, then this would be The PERFECT water bottle lid! Please please make this update and then let me know so I can buy more of them. Thanks! :)

I wanted something that would allow me to drink from my Nalgene bottles without the rouge-wave that comes crashing into your face when you don't get your drinking posture just right. There are times when you just want to chug from the bottle and the standard issue Nalgene opening won't work. Yet one wants to keep the wide opening for adding ice and other tasks. Enter the Capcap. Just pull off the old Nalgene cap and screw this one on. Done. I've brought this to work (doing construction) and its perfect. It's more stout than the standard issue Nalgene cap and it's got a clever little notch built in to hold the cap out of the way of your mouth. If you like Nalgene bottles your gonna love this.

I use this every day, and every day I appreciate how well designed this is. I've had it for a while now, and quality/reliability seems strong.

The little cap holder is an awesome update to a product I've used for years. Need something with bristles to clean the inside, but I can't use a Nalgene without this.
