I didn't hate it , it just did not work and was 3 years old and was old technology and would not work with an apple computer

I had many old 35mm negative strips I needed to review and download onto my computer. A little slow going, but much cheaper than having it done. I enjoy doing this, so it makes it all worth while.

I sent it back. It did not work and gave a yellow haze to every slide I scanned.

Scanner works great with Windows 10 Pro. Took a while to get driver to work, but once it was up and running it scanned great. Does a really great job with Kodak Kodachrome Color Safety 135 (35mm) film, this is the film which is orange in color after developing and very difficult to scan. Came also with a full Adobe Photoshop Package.

The device cannot...cannot deal with light value. if the slide is an outdoor shot with no shadowing, It is great. If there is the slightest of any shadowing all detail in the shadows is lost all you get is a shadow blob.... very frustrating when dealing with architectual subjects :(

The software is outdated and discontinued

Avoid like the plague of all cheap scanners! This scanner is Junk! period- if you see it cheap? run away fast. It cannot scan anything with any consistency. The Software is full of Bugs-regardless of updates. It has the most pitiful light source that can't illuminate through anything that has the slightest contrast or depth. It leaves awful scan lines-most times. It native resolution is probably closer to sub 1100? dpi. It interpolates pixels in blocks beyond this to worthlessness. It can make the most horrible noises and seems to shake itself off your desktop- Like this is good for scan scans (insert droll laughter) Like putting your record player on your 12 inch speakers!!!! I only bought this because I got it for new for almost free and thought? how bad could it be? Beyond terrible and embarrassing. If you give this junk anything above 1 star? then you have never seen a Slide that is scanned properly-period- You Have Been Warned.

Ther were times when I could not get the PrimFlim to work right. Sometimes it would not scan color slides or film correctly.
