Q: Anyone having battery corrosion, leakage problems? aaa, aa!

Yes, they very often leak corrosive chemicals. I have two 16-packs with December 2025 expiration dates ("guaranteed 10 years") which have been stored at room temperature in a dry environment, it's November 2019 now and both unopened packages have chemical leakage from nearly all batteries. One of them has leakage from all but one, and the other has leakage from all but two.

Q: Are these in an un-opened and factory sealed package? What is the expiration date?

I just got mine and they are different from described and pictured. I got 4 packs of 5 batteries each in little cardboard boxes that are already 2 years old. Exp date is 2025 at first I was upset I did not get what I asked for, a sealed in plastic packaging 16 NEW (still a full 10 years to go) but know I will use them up long before then. Plus I got 20 batteries total. So I'm cool with it.
