HyperXAlloy Origins - Aqua Switch + HyperX Wrist Rest

Good value. No complaints
They keys are spaced a bit more than I was used to but I learned to adjust. Not as quite as I hoped but responsive and feel fine. Software is easy to use and customize just takes a few minute to playwith

I Love It
Let me start off saying, wow. I’m VERY disappointed in the fact that, when I tried to “save boxes” and have these two items arrive on time (HyperX Alloy Origins keyboard and the pudding cups) they both arrived in their original packaging and LEFT out on the front porch. These days with all the people stealing packages, I realize nothing would stop them, but a bright ass red box would definitely get their attention. Other than that, the product itself I’m extremely happy with. The keyboard itself feels unbreakable and I love the fact that it has different angles it can be set to. The pudding cups are just the cherry on top. Brings out the color and makes it even brighter! I LOVE IT!

I love this thing.
This is my first Mechanical keyboard, so i'm only just learning about all the different switch types. I don't know what Cherry MX feels like, or any of the altered cherry like the blue, but these feel very nice and fluid to me. Coming off a membrane keyboard these keys feel quite amazing.RBG is Addressable with the Hyper X NGENUITY program, you can use a small selection of custom animated key presets, or choose colors, apply layers so you can have all your keys one color, and have another layer to set certain keys to different colors or animated presets. I set up all my gaming keys a different color. Very bright LED's, I actually had to turn them down a bit because I use my keyboard a lot in the dark and didn't want to go blind. The wrist rest I bought with it as a bundle is very good quality as well, bottom is a solid thick rubber with grip, sown on to the surface fabric which is very soft and silky feeling. The filling feels like a firm gel, I don't expect it to wear down anytime soon. If I had to replace it I'd just want to buy another, it feels very nice.

My favorite keyboard!
UPDATE: I bought this keyboard I April. I bought the pudding keycaps as well. After spending all of that money, this week EIGHT switches have gone out. Eight. I haven't haven't had this thing a year. This was my most comfortable and favorite keyboard I had ever used but I will not recommend nor purchase anything hyperx again after this. Can't replace the switches so now it's trash. A very expensive paperweight.I love the way these keys feel! The keyboard a really its self is such a good weight, heavy enough to not easily slide around. The keycaps have such a great feel, nice and deep, they hug your fingertips! The switchs are nice and clicky without being too much and feel so buttery smooth! The program to set your colors is easy to use, the settings are great, and the lights are so nice and bright!

Bright RGB, fantastic Aqua switch, excellent PBT pudding caps, terrible beta software
This keyboard was purchased after I saw a review of the HyperX Alloy Origins keyboard with the Aqua switch. I wanted something with PBT keycaps, and I saw the additional pudding caps you could purchase which are double shot PBT. It took some work to find a vendor, but I was finally able to get one. This keyboard is mostly a home run, although it's not a grand slam (if you'll forgive the sports metaphor). The lighting is excellent, although the pudding caps do not illuminate fully as one might hope. The light fall-off is noticeable, rendering the pudding caps vivid, but also brighter as they are closer to the LED and dims out as towards the edges. Nothing unexpected, but a mild disappointment nonetheless. The Aqua switch is heavenly to use, although coming from the Clicky GL keys of my Logitech G915, they require more effort to push. Nothing concerning, but it's a preference. The sound of the keyboard switch is perfect for an office environment: not too loud as to be distracting to your neighbors, but also with a solid actuation feel. And on a purely superficial note, aqua is one of my favorite colors, so to have aqua switches gives it a nice appearance. The NGenuity, as other reviewers have mentioned, is rather poor and lackluster. Logitech's G-Hub software is much nicer and more useful. One of the biggest issues is that the software can only run on one user profile at a time, so if you are logged into two user accounts on a computer, the second user will not be able to control the lighting effects. The software just won't acknowledge the keyboard at all. It is in beta, and only provided by the Microsoft Store (another glaring oversight that I hope is remedied). The footprint is very small, with the keys almost right along the frame of the keyboard. It is a solid aluminum body which has weight to it so it isn't sliding around. The only drawback is the lack of dedicated media keys. You can use the FN key in combination with F9-F11, but after I replaced the key caps, I don't know which is which. Thankfully, it doesn't take much to figure out which key does what, and it's easy to remember. At least a volume wheel or rocker would have been nice.Overall, I'm fairly pleased with this keyboard. It's a bit pricy--although MUCH cheaper than the Logitech G915--but the construction is solid, and the RGB is bright and vivid (Logitech's G915 by comparison is more muted and subtle). I do recommend getting the PBT key caps to replace the cheaper plastic ones that come with the board, but they are unnecessary. The key caps that come with it are nice and solid. I just wanted something with PBT since I like the feel of those over others. Also the detachable cable is a nice surprise, especially when it's terminated with USB-C (Logitech's G915 is micro-USB which is absurdly dumb on Logitech's part).

Better for gaming than typing
Nothing worth taking a star away from but the red switches are more sensitive than I'm used to making typing a hassle. Great keyboard otherwise, lighting is amazing and beautiful, very bright. Next time will be trying a more tactile switch.

Standard to gamer
Aqua switches are the right move if you plan to buy this keyboard. The heaviness and the build quality is amazing. Youll be surprised how good this keyboard is.

Nice but some shortcomings
Pleasant keyboard and nice click feel (but then obviously quite noisy). Solid construction2 important shortcomings:1- It is a US layout. No UK version... Good only if you feel America first and only. Pretty limiting otherwise.2- the software to customise it is just not very polished at all.

Perfect
The media could not be loaded. It's great value for money. The keys are of robust quality and the feel while touch typing is out of this world. The RGB software is decent and I've been able to easily customise it to my liking with the NGENUITY app.The product seems durable due to the aluminium body.

Really good keyboard for the price
I really like this keyboard and I mainly use it for osu! I got the HyperX Reds and they just feel really nice and have a nice sound. The RGB is also pretty decent, nothing too special about it. They do use ABS keycaps that will start to shine after a lot of use, but you can get their pudding keycaps. The stabilizers aren't the best and the spacebar has some rattle. But overall a good keyboard.

Great gaming keyboard
I've been using this keyboard for almost 2 months and have had no issues so far. The build quality is top notch. You don't have to install the software if you don't need fine-grained RBG lighting control. I recommend buying this if you just want a high quality keyboard that just works.
