We have a 100' pole barn. We keep a bunch of things in the barn that need keys. OK... a locking "key box" is a no brainer, right? Not really. Most are too big horizontally and don't open far enough to make them easy to use. You'd be amazed at how little horizontal space is available next to a pole barn's exterior doors.. It fits on the 6x6 vertical post and holds a bunch of keys and even comes with tags for the keys.

It works really well and fit all of my keys. It’s very sturdy and of good quality. I use to store my vehicles keys since I have several. It works great for the oversized keys. I’m giving 4 stars because it’s only a 3 digits code. It would be nice if it was 4 but I couldn’t find anything better out there

Very nice product. Exactly as advertised.

The main thing I was worried about in buying a lockbox for keys is how to install it. This model has holes pre drilled into the center of the back plate, making it go in easily. The combination is easy to set, but only has 3 numbers which is a bit less secure than I would have liked. Changing the combination is easy, but the internal lever requires a bit of force to move it the first time.

Good for the price but smaller than I anticipated. With a fob and a key I can only fit like 4 keys in it

Does the job - easy to install but depending on the wall type, you may need different fixings than the ones supplied (which would be suitable for a solid wall). Setting the combination was easy and the box / catch seems reasonably robust. It's not designed or intended to be a high security unit and a lump hammer / masonry chisel would make quick easy work of opening. However, it's ideal to store, organise and limit casual access to keys. In addition to the fixings, the unit ships with key rings / labels in a range of colours and a numbered sticker sheet. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. All in all, I was pleased with the purchase. I did note that the door, whilst functioning perfectly well, had a slight misalignment and can't say whether this was a manufacturing issue or it had been damaged (I purchased "used" from the Amazon Warehouse), but it has no bearing on the operation, it's more of a niggle when viewed in light of how impressive the product is in all other areas. I would happily purchase the same item again and am genuinely pleased the whole package - it's well thought out, professionally packaged, aesthetically pleasing, and the operation of the latch and general impression is of a quality product. The steel is relatively thin, but no different from other similar products and fit for purpose.
