It works so well . I was nervous using washing machine but there was zero after residue.

Worked fairly well on a cotton-blend. (The instructions and listing were more than clear that the blend may diminish the result.)Easy to work with and to my relief, it didn't stain the washer. However, be extremely careful... even the dust that wafts out when you open the package can land unseen on any surrounding surface. When it gets a little wet it becomes dye. Fortunately it seemed to wipe off cleanly from pretty much everything.

Used the entire bag for one pair of pants. Still not black.

I would never use this dye in my washer again! It stained my front loader so bad I had to wash it 5 times and scrub the rubber seal with vinegar! I even had to use one of those washer tablets to clean my washer. There was weird black flakey foam and lots of residue inside the washer and the seal. I had to clean that out and run the washer again with hot water.Finally after the 5th wash it looks semi normal, still has some staining on the rubber seal.Not sure if you can use this dye in a bucket, I think the color is good but wouldn't recommend using in the washer.

Had ordered this to dye two of my black (faded) cargo pants in order to bring them back to life. As instructed tried the product and follow all the steps. But it was not effective, the end result was slightly darker than what they were before. Paid a decent price for it, but didn't get the results. Just a tip, don't buy it for Washing Machine use, I'd say take a container and then use it.

I purchased this to die a company store down- comforter and I used the whole bag in the washer and it didn’t change the color of my comforter at all. Highly would not recommend!!!
