Great quality and cut nicely
I bought 2. One for myself and my husband. I've had issues in the past of these breaking after only a few uses and these aren't like that. Nice and durable plus they cut nice and clean. So nice sharp blade with smooth cut for even the larger thicker pills

Cuts like it says
Nice little pill cutter. No problem with small or big pills. Cuts right thru them with ease. Good purchase.

Most precise pill cutter I’ve used
Most precise pill cutter I’ve used. Yes, as other reviewers have stated, it does break after a month or 2. But reasonably priced so I ordered several. Worth it!

Shattered / Crushed a 2.5mg Rx Tablet
I am supposed to take 1/4 of a 2.5mg tablet. It isn’t anything narcotic, either. It’s Minoxidil - yes - the generic formerly patented (and still sold) under the brand name Rogaine also comes in tablet form. This pill-cutter crushed the Tablet into chunks and powder, even though I wedged that tiny tablet all the way back, as snugly as it would fit into the cutter. I even lined up the scored edge so that I could close the top portion with swift efficiency - like the Guillotine coming down on Marie Antoinette’s delicate little neck.Instead, it was much more like the shocking spectacle of Mary Queen of Scots, which was botched, and took multiple strikes to complete. It was customary to tip your executioner, so as to guarantee the blade would land with accuracy and dispatch you in one, clean, go, but not if you held a high enough position.Another attempt at halving this tiny pill was disastrous in that the blade slipped and the tablet shot out of the back of this product.I was so annoyed that I did not bother to return it - it was more satisfying to hurl across the room a few times, before pitching it into the bin.I have resorted to taking a little nibble out of the ridiculously tiny tablet. I have not been inclined to spring for a $13.99 upgrade. I may enquire if the Pharmacist can do it, or if smaller tablets (I imagine I would need to use gemologists tweezers to grasp one) are made.Until another solution can be sorted, I shall continue this very awkward squirrel-nibble technique, rather than crush or get a shallow shard and hunt for the launches tablet.Stress-induced alopecia is dreadful, as is post-Partum and perimenopausal hair loss.Nutrafol is also getting a subscription out of Me - I may as well drop some cash on a limited edition Hermès pill cutter, while I’m at it. I think it would be so liberating to shave My head and not even have to deal with hair - or have the option to mix it up with wigs.Off with her hair!Don’t buy this cheapo pill cutter.

Used for a year
Bought this Aug 23, now Dec 24 and it has completely broke. I think for $6 it's not bad how long it lasted but the entire time it was often frustrating to use. The blade would move and would cut just a little chunk off, it would take multiple tries to get it to cut etc. Apparently the pills I was cutting were too small as well because I couldn't fit them into the spot where they're supposed to go. I had to manually line it up which I'm sure caused some of the problems. It wasn't horrible but definitely could've been better.

Pill cutter/splitter
My doctor asked me to take half of the prescribed dose of a certain RX Med, so I had to try to cut the pills in half as evenly as possible with a nail clipper, that I first cleaned with an alcohol wipe. Then I saw this pill cutter/splitter on Amazon and decided to give it a go. The pills that I need to split in half are very small, and at first each pill would not stay securely in its place, resulting in an uneven cut. Then, I tried tilting the pill cutter to the left, so that it was on an incline. Once I did that, I got the desired result, and each pill was evenly cut in half. For a very long time, I've had a pill crusher but it never occurred to me to get a pill splitter, but I am glad that I did.
