A lot smaller than I thought it would be. The comb part is about half the size of my other small combs. The comb part is 2.7 inches (70mm), my other combs are 5 inches (130mm). It is thick and sturdy, quality seems great. More like a mustache comb than a hair comb, but I still think it's cool and something nice to have. And I am going to comb my hair with it! Totally worth the $10 price I paid for it!

I got this Kent 20T handmade folding pocket comb about two months ago, and I’m really pleased with it. The design is classic and stylish, and the quality feels excellent—hand polished with fine teeth that glide smoothly through my hair and beard. I love the compact pocket size; it’s exactly what I was looking for to carry around easily for everyday grooming. Whether I’m using it dry or with balm, it works perfectly to style my hair and beard without pulling or snagging. Overall, this comb is a great blend of craftsmanship and practicality. Definitely a solid addition to my grooming kit.

It works well as a pocket comb. The tines don't catch on everything in your pocket since they are folded into the housing. I used to carry a regular comb for a while. The problem was that the tines would catch on everything. So I went looking for one that folded. I decided to get this one. The pocket clip works well enough when it's new, but that will fade when the rivet starts to wear in. Eventually you will need to use a little bit of CA glue to prevent it from turning. If you're careful it won't take away from the aesthetics much. (You may even want to do that before it becomes a problem.) The comb is a bit stiff to open and close at first, so it is easier to open two handed. Once it's worn in a bit it will get easier to open and close. I will say that this is not a comb that you will hand down to your children or grand children. It is also not a comb that is absolutely hassle-free. The rivet hinge is the main detriment. I liked it enough to buy a second one when I lost my first one though.

I have never really thought about investing a lot of thought or money into a higher priced comb. It just seemed like one of those tools for a guy that was stupid to spend more than a couple of bucks on. Since I started getting into more professional mens grooming styles, tools and techniques, I thought it might be time to buy a better comb. This review is based on my first impressions, so if there is anything after this review that happens (good or bad), I will be sure to update this review. I love the size and feel of this comb. Its extremely light weight, classy looking and worked really good when styling my hair with Pomade. Its very tiny too, so its good enough to clip on your pocket and you won't even know its there. Good for on the go hair combing. I am curious now about buying other combs from Kent. I think the $14 price tag is worth it for something that is a trusted brand, and makes better than average combs. If you want something small, light, portable and classy, then buy this comb!

My 12 year old loves this comb. It combs perfectly and makes his hair look great. It was very hard to open at first, but twith time it got easier to open. Same day after I wrote my original review, the clip on it broke. Part where it broke is very sharp. Tried to sand it down, did not work. Had to put a sticker over it so that my son can still use it. He was pretty upset the clip broke though. Clip needs to be made better, I saw other people were complaining about it breaking as well.

What a fantastic comb. Ok, let's start with the fact that I never write reviews. This might be my first; I don't know. But this comb is really incredible. I recently purchased this comb because it is winter, and in winter I let my hair grow out because it is warm. But due to the addition of fairly unruly, unkempt hair I have developed a need for a comb (which I normally detest) to tame the masses when I have the need of presenting myself with any modicum of class. Per usual, I turn to Amazon, and per usual, the reviews led me right. This comb combs my hair perfectly wet or dry, and feels great while doing it (to be honest the great feeling of this comb doing it's job is what led me to write this review). You may ask, why did he get a folding comb when he doesn't seem to carry it with him every day? Because I only have room for one folding tool to carry every day, and that's a knife. Additionally, who needs a comb without a handle when the teeth on this one are perfectly spaced for all one's combing needs (to be fair I can't grow a true beard and therefore cannot attest to it's beard combing capabilities)? I mean who wants little pointy points sticking into ones hands unnecessarily? Ergonomics are clutch. Additionally, I like the convenience the folding handle affords affords while traveling. Finally, it's fun to open and close. Buy this comb! It makes you more manly in a way a chainsaw never can.

This comb smells TERRIBLE. Overpowering smell of moth balls or a basement and I can’t get rid of it. Not something you want near your face. Also, got stuck shut the first time I tried opening it. Had to get tools to get it back open. Waste of money.
