Q: Is the material bpa free and azo free?

Hi, Great Question, especially now cheap look a likes are now on the market with shall we say, some rather interesting ingredients. May I confirm Biostretch would not entertain using Bisphenol (BPA) and especially would not use Azo dyes due to their health and environment concerns. Q: What is the product made of? Does it contain plastic?

Hi Vladon, To ensure optimal performance and quality in all weathers and climates, the latest BioStretch production is made with 95% natural and 5% man-made materials. When exposed to light, moisture and microbes, 95% of the BioStretch breaks down very easily into natural elements found in nature. The remaining 5% (which equates to 0.04g per 30cm) will break down, all be it over a much longer period. This formula, along with the use of no wire or PVC content, makes BioStretch the first choice for sustainable gardening whilst gently looking after your plants. Currently our company's total packaging usage is over 90% Biodegradable. Our target of 100% will be achieved by late 2022, when all of our packaging will consist of only recycled paper and cardboard. Q: would this work. to securely tie my pruned roses to a fence?

Yes, as long as you knot it tightly. It stretches and is easy to tie. It blends in with green branches and biodegrades after a specified time. I have never used it on roses but tie six-foot branching zinnias to bamboo and fiberglass poles with it.
