Q: How many grams are these? (i.e. how much do they weigh?) I want to use them as balloon weights for individual balloons.

The short answer to your question is "Not very much." I have not bought theeeeeese clothespins (yet), but I bought similar clothespins a few months ago -- they are 𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕! The product information section on Amazon says: "Product Dimensions 1 x 0.4 x 3 inches; Item Weight 1.92 ounces (54.4 grams); Shipping Weight 12 ounces." Does each clothespin weigh 1.92 ounces?? Probably not, so I must assume that 50 of them together weigh 1.92 ounces (which honestly seems too little). Anyway, 54.4 grams divided by 50 units... that's about 1 gram per clothespin. Which again seems odd that even a plastic clothespin would weigh about as much as 1 raisin! Walmart.com also sells these. Their website says: "Assembled Product Weight 0.01 oz" That's only 0.3 grams each... that cannot be correct. So... long story short... about 1 gram each give or take a couple grams, i.e. not very much! So unless you want a lot of crying kids, I'd find something else to weigh down your 𝑳𝒖𝒇𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒔!

I never checked, because this is a small purchase that will never affect my health or the economy. They work well as clothes pins or bag closers.
