Great for Warhammer or model painting
I really like these brushes.I have started to do a little model painting as well as painting Warhammer minis. I have tried a variety of brushes recommended by others and after using everything from the expensive Windsor and Newton series 7 to the ones stolen from my wifes makeup drawer, I can say that these are my go to brushes.I find that they last, so long as you take care of them, and they are remarkably robust. The 000 is exceptionally fine and has been wonderful for painting the tiny little lines on Spidey, or more accurately repairing the mistakes...I find that with the expensive brushes I am too worried about what happens if i accidentally leave it in the water too long, is that an errant hair, OH MY GOD IS IT BENT etc etc.I have no fears with these brushes, they provide good results and they are cheap enough to have a spare set on standby should there be an issue.I think they are fantastic and every model/mini painter should have a set!

Very cheap - somewhat cheerful
These are cheap brushes, and I use them to paint miniatures (Warhammer 40,000 and other). If I was a new painter, I'd likely be very happy with these, though the tips do split quickly (admittedly, I may have had a bad batch), and obviously these brushes can't compare to anything artist grade. That being said, even at the cheapest end, a single artist grade brush will cost you the same as this entire set - letting alone the more prestigious brands/lines of artist brushes.I've personally relegated these to mixing acrylic paint, but a friend of mine who's getting into painting miniatures has got a lot of value out of these. If you're new to painting, I'd definitely buy these instead of a more expensive brush (buy an expensive brush later). The grip-friendly ergonomics of these brushes are handy for any painter with fine-motor function difficulties (DCD/Dyspraxia/MS etc.).Rating was 4, as my batch have a few bad splits after only a couple of uses. Would recommend for newer painters, or any painter wanting some cheap brushes you can abuse.

Very handy for modelling

So soft
Too soft for the paint by numbers when the little wells of paint are drying up. Only for fresh and fluid paints.
