Legible But Smudge Free
This lead proved to be ideal for my vintage Cross mechanical pencil. Previous lead refills were too soft and smeared while this HB was perfect. It made an easy-to-read impression without the hated "smudge". It also erased cleanly when necessary. A good value for the money.
