It works well.
Okay, I admit I was really skeptical. This product kept coming up in reviews and I researched whether you could really reduce the bags under your eyes, and it had mostly good Amazon reviews, so I tried it. I've used it a month now, as directed, and it has made a significant impovement. The biggest change occurred in the first two weeks, where the size of the bags were reduced, and the color changed from dark to regular skin color. There has been much less change since, but they are still slowly improving. It will be interesting to see how much improvement I see over another month or so. Given where I started and where I am now, I would continue to use this even if it just maintained the improvement I've already seen.

Honest opinion from buyer!
I waited for results before writing a review due to all the erroneous 5 star reviews. I've been using this product for a little over two weeks.I bought this after having read the ingredients and weighing my options against a few other products. It was either this stuff or something from Olay, Clinque, or that Vita-K cream. Whether it's made for men or women has no relevance. I'll use creams marketed towards women if it'll make my skin look better. My final decision was based on the ingredients and reviews. About a day or two after I got it I felt like a fool for paying for this stuff. I paid closer attention to the 5 star reviews and realized they were likely paid to give phony testimonials. All of their other reviews are also 5 star MensScience reviews. The customer review section of all their products look just like a commercial. It's a deceptive advertising tactic and it infuriated me. I was lied to, mislead, and felt suckered. Thinking about it now rekindles a harboring mistrust I have toward this company. I have firsthand experience, so here's what I think about this product:I like it. Yes, I do. It's actually working for me. I use it once a day that goes over a witch hazel/light salicylic acid toner. I've only tried one other cream in my life to combat dark circles. It was some cream made by Wexler (they have a good glyco acid peel), but it turned out to be more of a concealer than part of a treatment to actually treat a chronic problem I've had since my teens. Let me make this clear, the improvement hasn't been stellar, but enough to take a second look in the mirror and notice an improvement. I don't know if it'll work for you, but it's working for me. According to the ingredients this stuff should help. It has a good combination of ingredients that a lot of other creams don't mix together and include in one package. I was looking for key ingredients in one cream, such as vitamin A, E, K, and Kojic Acid. I read somewhere those were good ones to look out for when looking for an eye cream. I'll probably start using it twice a day. It goes on smooth and doesn't smell bad, and the greasy feeling goes away in a couple of minutes. It has a matte finish. Again, there has been some improvement. I'm hoping for more improvement in the future.I don't know if I'll buy it again. Those perfidious testimonials is the worst thing they could have done to promote their products. It's so shady and so obvious. How can I trust them when I was lured under false pretense? To me it looks like they paid people to lie about their products, to fool you and to fool me. Well, I'm not stupid and I'm not their surf. They don't trust their own products to work. They should allow all their products to undergo fair scrutiny, leading to honest reviews and testimonials. I know there are as good as or better creams out there, and if you're like me, you'd be willing to pay far more than what this stuff costs if it'll really make a BIG difference. Next, I'll probably try something from Olay or that Murad lighten and brighten eye cream or just see a dermatologist.I have no other reviews yet. I mostly buy music from Amazon's MP3 download collection. I'll probably write one more review for a gift I bought for a relative. It was some wax stuff.

False Hopes
Ok. . . Well I'd like to begin by saying that I am usually a very smart shopper. I had been viewing this item for a few weeks, when I noticed one day that when i went to wash my face my eyes got extremely dark. I've had dark eyes ever since I can remember, and it tends to make me look tired. So i read all the wonderful reviews from people on this website and the products actual website and decided at $35 was enough to risk for a product that supposedly worked wonders. To my dismay, its been 3.5 weeks since I got the item, and I'm fairly certain that my skin looks the same. What I have noticed is that this rescue formula seems to act more like a "cover up" for woman. Although it might work on some minorly dark spots, it didn't improve the spots that I actually bought it for. Now since I'm a nice guy and hopeful, I'm going to continue to use this product for another two-three weeks. If things work out better than I will update this message and give wonderful reviews. Until then, I warn you Not to purchase this product. In addition, I don't like liars.

Better than Photoshop to reduce dark circles and puffiness
I've been using this product for almost a year, as part of a daily skin care routine. I've tried Roc and something else from Olay, and found those creams to be much heavier/thicker. I prefer the lightness of this MenScience formula, it applies smoothly when my face is still moist from the shower and I've never had a problem with irritation. It also absorbs quickly and doesn't create a shine/not at all oily. On lazy weekend days when I don't use it, I can tell a difference in firmness.

My thoughts, and a tip or possible solution.
OK, so I'll throw my two cents in. I've been using this for about a month, and I have noticed a definite improvement. There's less darkness under the eyes, and the skin seems to be firmer. I've also been using Roc Retinol eye cream at night, for the past 2 years. The Roc Retinol made an initial big improvement, so for the Eye Rescue Formula to provide additional, noticeable improvement on top of that, is impressive.I'm also concerned with sustaining the look and healthy skin I have now, and this has more of the ingredients I'm looking for than any of the others I've looked at. If it helps fight the aging, more the better. Perhaps had I tried it before the Roc, the difference would have been even greater. But as it is right now, 4 stars is accurate. Also, the article I read in Mens Journal, that suggested this product, also discussed the role of sun exposure to the health of the skin around the eyes. Evidently it is very destructive. The article pointed out that this product does not offer sun protection. I apply a light physical sunscreen on top, that blocks UVA and UVB that is also oxybenzone free. For those who have a lot of sun exposure, you may want to do a little research to see how that may be affecting your efforts. There's a lot of 'stuff' in this product and some of it may not respond well to a lot of sun exposure. Retinyl being one of them.I'm not an expert on this stuff, but there seems to be a lot controversy, so I thought a little bit more on my experience and thought process might help others.
