I needed a short leash with some sturdy hardware on it, good stitching, and no frills. This one checks all the boxes. -It's 4' extended, but I rig it up to half that length to properly short-leash my hairy child (a 38lb Shepsky). -It has a D-ring in the right spot so I can keep the whistle and the poo bag dispenser on it. This isn't important until you realize your leash doesn't have a proper D-ring... -It uses steel (and not plastic or aluminum) for the hook and hardware with a good spring inside. -The price is insanely good compared to all the leashes at walk-in pet stores. -The weaving/material is extremely durable long-term. The therapy dog organization we belong to requires a 4 ft leash and I purchased this for that reason. The color is very nice and the padded handle is comfortable. We haven't needed the reflective feature but it's nice to have and looks nice too. I also like the small ring at the base of the handle in case I need to clip something else onto the leash.

This leash is very well made with enough padding in the handle to wrap around your hand if needed- I have the bright blue and my female has the hot pink- I love the fact that you donate to a rescue! These are my two that use the leash

A well made leash—the fabric is sturdy and it has a lined handle loop, definitely higher quality than most leashes of this size (5/8 inch wide).

Why did you pick this product vs others?: replaced an old leash that broke, one lunge after a rabbit too many. This one is a little lighter weight although it is the same size (5/8"). the handle does have an additional layer. the hardware is a little lightweight, I'm using this on a medium dog, but she is older, and other than an occasional lunge after a rabbit/squirrel she doesn't pull, so I hope this will last. I would be leery of this if you have a heavy puller.

Great quality products at a great price. I love Max and Neo brands. My dog is short and the leash gets dragged on the ground a lot. I replace my leash every year not because I need to, but because I like tossing money towards this great organization and their cause. Even after a year of being dragged on the concrete the leash holds up.

I bought the 4 ft leash and it is perfect, it’s a nice thickness, reflective on both sides, and the handle is padded, very nice to hold.
