Super easy to use and long lasting
I’ve fixed a lot of irritating things with this stuff...leaky basement, broken sidewalk paver, cement skirting on doorframe...Weather can be hard on ur house. The thing about it stopping running water though is not true. It firms up and dries quickly, yes, but when water is being pushed through a crack, like in a basement, it washes away before it can dry. I def rec using a wooden frame around the crack/hole so it will hold the cement in place while it cures and can set before the water pressure washes it away. Whatever the psi rating is it’s a lie...any running water will wash it away no matter how gently it’s flowing—so always build ur wooden corral around the work spot(ty Google and YT for the learning). It dries looking like any cement, and although it’s not listed for it, it works great on outdoor cement probs. I’ve had pros use whatever grade of cement to patch stuff, it fails a year later, and I plop this on and voila problem solved.I like that it’s not as hard to work with as regular cement too. It’s more like making cake batter than cement—which comes in hugely heavy bags, u need a thing to stir it all in, ugh such work...this stuff u can use just scoop fulls and put into like Tupperware containers and when ur done just throw it away...so much easier and manageable.Great product and def rec over pretty much any other cement.

Mix larger quantities
Hydraulic cement rules - I want to share a tip on how to mix larger quanties. I was doing 12:4 no problemThe trick is to use a plastic putty knife and shave the knife to the contour of the container you’re using that combined with cold water, you should be golden. I prefer a plastic bowl with a curved bottom. Great product, been using it for years, just don’t see it anymore without a name brand attached by dryloc definitely got it right.

Yep..
Ok, so some dude did a review on this product and recommended using ice water to mix the product in. LISTEN TO THAT DUDE.... This stuff dries fast, I mean you better have your gear ready when you mix this up. Once this stuff hit the floor, you literally have twenty seconds to spread this around, or shove it in whatever hole your plugging. I almost wasted the first tub.... (well I kind of did) Good thing I ordered two, I ended up buying a third tub, because of the loss I had with the first one, but my wife was watching so I blamed it on the product, but no.. It was my fault, mix this stuff wet, and when I say wet, I mean like soup, (if your using it to fill cracks and holes on flat ground concrete like I did). If you need it to be more malleable, then ad Ice water from an ice chest, and don't be afraid to let a few ice cubes in. Good luck, and buy twice as much as you need... Because you will probably not heed my advice and screw it up the first time, just like I did. :)

The most versatile patching cement I know
I bought this product for an application where I wanted to fill a crack in a cement basement wall that sometimes had small amounts of rain water coming through it. I read it would stop an active leak, so bought it. Per pound it costs more than other brands of patching cement i have bought, but it is easier to handle with gloved hands, it packs in place well, is easily spreadable and dries solid and hard fast. It is better than other patching products i have tried. It filled well the crack described. It also sculpts well. That is, i have created a 6inch tall berm in the base of a window well that sometimes has water flow into it. That berm keeps water confined to something like a swimming pool, away from the basement window itself. I have included a picture of the window well with the berm built from this product. The point is, you can build up 3d structures with this, one gloved handfull at a time. It sticks well to itself, whether you are applying to it old and dry, or to it wet. I strongly recommend this product.
