Good product
Haven't done tempersture tests yet, so this is a review just of visual checks and assembly experience.Solid piece of engineering. Well-designed with loads of fins, included 2 fans that can be fixed in whatever direction you want (depending on your case airflow direction). Came with all accessories, incl long screwdrivers, to be able to uuse for AMD and Intel mobos (last 3 generstions or so as of 2024). Peach-brown fans are Noctua trademarks, but ugly. Came with paste, just enough for 1 application.Overall, pricey, but great quality and well thought-out design.

Worthy of the Title | King of Air Coolers | (Better than some liquid coolers of low budget😂)
So here's my in depth review of this cooler....see I'm more of a performance and reliability type of a guy so I bought this instead of a liquid cooler even though they're in same price range of 10K.and damn....I was surprised by the size of it and yes the quality it's not just quality it's QUALITY you can guess now. It's an air cooler so there might be a few temperature spikes bcz of flow of heat but that's not a problem bcz it's an air cooler but ones you start to play game OR under full load it won't go above like (in games like COD MW 2 and cyberpunk 60 65 ) and core work for like 70 highest that much I've noticed.... and so far I'm happy with it's performance and Yes I'm using a 5900X so it's a Powerful Beast and yes there's a little noise but not that much it's actually quite if you adjust the curves and yes you do need a lot of air flow for it bcz it's completely based on air flow so you will need a back case fan too.

Great product
Awesome product...Only issue could be it's humungus size as it leaves little space for graphic card or ram..So look out if the motherboard and cabinet can accommodate it...

Supports AM5 Out of the Box
Doesn't require extra mounting kit. Works with AM5 out of the box.

Best Air Cooler in the market
Using it on a Ryzen 9 5900x. Idle temps: ~45C (ambient 35C). Peak temps with moderate PBO: 76C. I'd recommend this over an AIO for long term, sustained usage unless you're an extreme overclocker.Pros:- Impeccable quality from Noctua - best in class!- Silent operationCons:- Received an unsealed, open box. This one's on Amazon- Make sure your case has 170mm of clearance or more if you want to mount both fans. With just the one fan 165mm is enough

Excellent value
You need a case that has a 140mm rear fan, to be able to use the second fan and most kinds of memory, else you won't be able to close the side panel. While the spec says 165mm, this fit my Phanteks P350X (specced at 160mm) just fine, the side panel does close - obviously with only one fan. However I am using this in a Deepcool CL500 with a Ryzen 3500, and I'm still not able to use the second fan because of my memory. With just one 140mm fan I'm getting about 3 degrees higher at idle and almost the exact same temperature at load as the outgoing Coolermaster 240mm AIO, with no attendant risk of pump failure or coolant leakage.Since I was using only one fan, I decided to skip the LNA. On the Chromax Black which I'm using with a 9900, I have both fans on the LNA so they are limited to 1200RPM. Without LNA, this gets up to 1600RPM and is still very silent. The clips do accept a standard 120mm fan, so I'm adding a Silverstone AB to get some additional cooling performance. The thing with these coolers is that they will last a lifetime, and Noctua support is beyond excellent. It seems expensive, but will outlast every other component in your system by a very long way. This is my second, with more to come, and I couldn't be more satisfied.I took one star off for compatibility, which remains a caveat with all twin-tower 140mm coolers.

Very Good
itv was delivered on time. good packaging. very easy to understand installation manual.have not used the pc for gaming. but from my use of the computer as a development machine, which sees heavy compilation and other cpu intense tasks, my i9 1200k temps hardly beach 40C.very happy.

Works great with I-9 12900k
Installed this with an LGA 1700 contact frame and get idle temps @ 29 degrees C. Gaming, temps get up to the mid 60's. Cooler than my older I-7 runs with a smaller cooler. Easy install and great cooling. 140mm fan moves a lot of air. I installed into a Lian Li Lancool III with stock fans. Did not want a liquid cooler in my work computer. Turns out I don't need one thanks to Noctua.

This product is dangerous. Wear gloves when installing.
This one isn't for amateurs. Be careful when handling or moving your fingers around it. The fins on this are razor-sharp enough to seriously lacerate you. Enough to need stitches from a casual graze. Keep your fingers clear of the fins. I recommend getting some ESD-safe Kevlar gloves, or at the very least, rubber dishwashing gloves when handling. You don't need a trip to the ER. This becomes more of a problem in smaller cases, as it is a tight fit on many mid and full-tower cases, and installing around it will become a pain. I can't imagine attempting to install this on any ITX setup that isn't caseless. The pictures are deceptive, this thing is HUGE.Most RAM sizes, due to the slot positioning, will require you to offset the front fan, which will in turn give very little clearance on most mid towers for the side panel. You may have to keep it loose or mod the panel. If you have top-case fans you may need to remove them as this will hang over the top as well. Keep that in mind. Also, it isn't stainless, so sweat and fingerprints may cause corrosion and rust over time. Blood definitely will if you get cut, as blood is corrosive to most metals, especially iron-based.While this isn't the hardest thing to install, it is definitely complicated in a methodical way. Read the instructions and follow them step by step.I recommend unclipping the fan that comes installed in the center of the heatsink first, and putting the extra clips on the second fan before anything else, and plugging both fan power cords onto the motherboard where you want them to be, before installing the heatsink itself, as it is huge enough to block a lot of stuff on the motherboard, including most CPU fan headers on a ATX and mATX motherboard. Clipping the fans on with them plugged in already is easy to do. The included screwdriver tool can be used to apply pressure to any finicky clips. Don't use your fingers in tight spots, you'll get cut.Despite all of this, this beast is a CPU-cooling masterpiece. It's incredibly quiet and will air-cool anything on the planet that isn't a Threadripper or modern Xeon, both of which are too big for the baseplate to adequately cover.I was able to get full overclocks on anywhere from a 8700k to a 13900k with this thing. It performs better than most AIOs I am aware of.

Never thought there could be an air cooler I'd actually like.
--Skip to second paragraph if you dont want to hear the backstory--Genuinely never even considered air cooler in the past, but my AIO was getting old and even with fresh thermal paste my cpu temps were pushing 80s under heavy load (i7 9700k). Worried about my pump failing, and wanting to rebuild my pc anyway, I started looking for new a new AIO. After looking endlessly and scratching my head on which was the best to buy, I noticed someone mention this cooler. Air cooling? Isn't that relevant for like... pentium level processors? Jokes aside, I genuinely didn't think air cooling could cut it. Boy was I wrong.Mine refuses to go above 64c under heavy load, usually hovering right around 60c. I think the only way it would is if the fans were set very low or off entirely. Max spikes will hit <75c but it's so quick and rare that I disregard it. It does hit the 60c threshold rather quickly (seconds after applying heavy load) with either a modest or aggressive fan curve, but once it's there it holds it even hours under a stress test. Under moderate load I see low to mid 50s.It's also QUIET. Even without low noise adapter and fan curve at 70%, this cooler makes most AIO setups sound like jet engines. I was going for a low noise setup and this cooler has been the perfect addition for that. I see people talking about adding the LNA but I really don't feel like it even needs it.If that's not enough, just remember that there's no pump failure. No having to desperately wait for a new AIO to arrive or shovel out another $100 for a cooler. This cooler can run perfectly fine on a single fan, so even if one goes out, or even if it's just for less noise, there won't be a huge difference on cooling.Lastly, I really do think this cooler looks so good in a case, especially one with minimal RGB like mine. Just enough to show its colossal shadow but not enough to light it up entirely. At first I really didn't care for the look but I decided to give it a try just for the cooling (and I didn't plan on having any rgb on at all originally) but once it's in the case it really does look good. The only thing I don't like is the spikes on the ends of the heatsinks. I do hope to cover those, eventually. While going for a low noise, minimal rgb build, this cooler is a big part of why I adore my pc.Some notes:When mounting the heatsink, use a single swift downward motion, lining up the screws, then alternate screwing them in. Moving the heatsink around could add a bunch of air to your thermal paste and degrade cooling quality. Make sure the screws are tight too. Don't try to tighten them farther than they're willing to go, but, make sure they are fully screwed in. When first installing I was trying to get one screw in at a time but it wasn't working and it kept messing up the thermal paste. One motion. Straight down.NT-H2 thermal paste will cool a few degrees more than the provided NT-H1. Both are good, though. The fans are easier to add or remove than they appear. Don't be dumb like me and try to pull off the wire clips without moving the fan. Initially installing them was a pain, because I was trying to do it by applying pressure on the wire only. Dont do this. To mount a fan, before putting it against the heatsink, push one side of the wire clips as far as it will go in the direction it's going to mount (the direction the fan will blow). Then hook it onto to heatsink where you want it. Now, pull the fan in the opposite direction of the currently mounted clip. The unmounted clip should extend past the heatsink where it's going to hook into. Now do the same as the other side, push the wire foward, hook it on, pull the fan to be center. Allow the fan to do all the work (you might have to push on one of the wires a little bit to get it to fully seat, but it shouldn't be much). This thing is BIG, it barely fits above RAM and will likely not work with a vertical GPU.That's about it, I really don't have anything negative to say. Happy I decided to try it, much happier than I would be with an AIO.If you took the time to read this, thank you, and I hope I helped in some way.
