Wells SW2348 HVAC Control Switch

I verified that this was indeed the correct part. It arrived so I go to pull the dash apart, remove the old control switch only to find out that the vacuum harness is about a foot too short and there is no way for the new switch to work other than to use the old vacuum harness. This kind of defeats the purpose if you have a possible leak in the old harness or the seals have shrunk. Back to the drawing board. Thankful for easy returns.

Worked great for the first 6 months. Now have a *weird* click going up into highest fan speed and it turns off. Not sure why.

I've reduced my rating from 4 to 2 star because after just 5 months of use, one of the fan speed positions only works part time, and the position selector switch is wearing to the point it's hard to feel any definitive spot for each position. I guess you get what you pay for. Will be ordering a Mopar piece to replace this one.

Worked just as described, the only thing that would be nice are the accompanying pigtails that are needed for the wires in the back. Amazon should list those to buy with it or state that it will need them. Replacing this is a common issue for Jeeps, they burn out too easily from the factory.

The wire harness that is included is too short for a 2002 jeep wrangler. It needs to be at least 6 inches longer.

it's great for replacing the AC control unit in one.

The pneumatic tubing harness is about 10" shorter than original. It will not reach the required connection behind the glove box. The controls do work but had to use original pneumatic harness.
