The quality of the paper is really nice, my pen glides across the sticky notes. The organization of the notes makes it easy to keep a variety available and one little discreet book. The notes are sticky enough to stay in place, but can be lifted and moved around with ease. It is best to pull the note up from the center. Any sticky note will start to fail sooner if you pull it from the side. The kit includes reinforcement tabs for the notes that have index tabs. I've used sticky notes with these tabs in the past, and they tend to curl under because they're sticking out from the side of the page. You won't have that problem if you use the reinforcement tabs. Including these with the kit is a thoughtful touch. The narrow strips are great for marking something in a book or planner that you'd want to refer back to, or that you want to highlight. These little flags are not paper, so I wondered if ink would smear when I wrote on them and then rubbed my finger across the flag. A standard ballpoint pen or permanent marker does not smear. Pencil does not smear. Ink from an erasable pen does smear, but I don't think it has anything to do with the quality of the product. That type of ink is really only designed for paper.

I was a little apprehensive about purchasing due to the most recent reviews. If those reviews were true, the seller has listened and already fixed the issues mentioned. There is NO WAY these notes are going to fall out of this book. The adhesive is STRONG!!! I was able to pick up each side of the book with the smallest section of notes. The adhesive is so good, in fact, 2 of the tab sections (the top two)—the last group of colors on each were glued to the book. I was able to peel them away carefully, though I did damage 2 or 3 of the bigger lined ones (one completely stuck still), The other one I did not damage. I don't mind much, but I did want to warn others. As for them sticking to other surfaces, I will hardly need to use them for anything other than a book, but they have supplied little individual double-sided tape stickies that I believe will definitely solve the issue of stickiness others were mentioning. I'm not sure why some rated so low! They even sent a note with an email address asking for feedback and to offer exchanges and refunds. I think this is a great product. The quality is awesome, and it does seem like the company really listens to feedback and fixes issues. Hope this helps someone else because I'm so happy I purchased this!! P.S. Is is such a cute and handy set. Just one problem. I ordered two, one for myself and one as a gift. Upon opening the little portfolio, most of the pad containing the largest tabbed notes had come away from the rest of the pad, meaning that they were loose in the portfolio, leaving only the red (bottom) tabbed notes. I remedied this by gluing the rest of the pad back on the red notes, which should be fine for me. However, when I checked the one I intended to gift, it was damaged in exactly the same way, meaning that I cannot gift a damaged item, even though I can improvise a repair. Given that this problem happened with both my sets, it probably has and will happen again. That said, it’s a great way to carry different note aids for anyone who keeps a busy calendar, journal, or story boards.

I annotated my whole Bible with these! they work amazing, they're super sticky, they're truly transparent so you can see straight through them. I would use the provided pen because they can smudge. I loved the different color options and tabs on the sides of each note.

This was larger than I was expecting, but includes a great variety of sticky notes. Paper is good quality and colors are not too saturated for clear writing. They are not transparent, but instead a nice thinner sticky note.

I love the idea of this sticky book, but the "sticky" part of the papers is not very sticky. The bottom orange pad came completely off right when opening & no matter how many times I try to press it back on, it comes right back off. Its too heavy for the sticky part to adhere. They dont stick to things very long either. I do love the color & convenience of having different sizes in one spot that I can carry with me, but it doesn't do much good if they are poor quality.

I have to say that once again I am so impressed with a Mr Pen product, the cover/book is really nice and keeps the notes from getting ripped or scrunched in a bag and I love the extra adhesive.
