Love it
I am so so happy with these hiking boots, I can just recommend it to anybody. Tried at least 15 pair of boots before I settled with these. Didn’t have too much time to break it in before a strenuous 10 miles hike, but I’ve done it without any hotspots and blisters.

Very comfortable
I bought a pair of Vasquez boots very similar to these 22 years ago. I finally had to replace them. These are nice. They are comfortable and move with my foot. I had bought a different pair and returned them because they were stiff. Somewhat disappointed with these Vasque boots how the changed the lacing hooks. They are much shorter and don't catch the laces easily when tying them up. Also the tongue is shorter so when I tie them the laces rub onto my leg. I have to loop the lace from the top of the hook and tie it below the hook so it doesn't rub.

Beautiful, Well Made and Great Support - Size Up!
These are gorgeous boots. Lovely color, great ankle support, just what I was looking for, if they made them in bigger sizes. I just wore out the boots I've been hiking and climbing mountains in for 24 years and decided to give these a try. I'm over 6' and wear a solid women's size 11 in most brands. I own and love a pair of women's vasque snow boots in size 11 that fit me perfectly, so naturally I bought these in 11 assuming they would fit. Unfortunately, they were so short my toes hurt after wearing them around the house in mere minutes. I even tried to wear them 3 separate evenings around the house bc they are so beautiful, before returning them. If your feet are smaller than mine, I would say to size up a full size. I am not able to as their largest size is 11, so these went back. I opted for Merrell Hiking Boots in size 12 (Merrell always runs small, but I knew that from other purchases) and those fit perfectly, but these are still prettier with better support. Please make larger sizes for us tall ladies!!

Narrow Fit
I purchased this same boot several times in the past few years. I used to buy a size 6.5, until this last year, based on my feet changing and possibly a change to the boot fit. They have always run narrow in the heel and arch, and appear to maintain these features. I now order a size 7.5 for roominess in the toe box area. You might want to order these a half a size larger if you plan on wearing heavy socks for activities. These are a light boot for trail/hiking activities, and not for serious backpacking. They are light and sturdy, have great traction, and will last. There are no mesh vents since they are ultra-dry, and have a tendency to be very warm in the summer months. I love the thick, soft padding on the inside and top of the tongue, and all around the ankle support! You never have to worry about sore ankles when hiking for several hours! Like any good boot, they will need breaking in, but not for long. I plan on buying another pair or maybe two!

Love Vasque Boots But Not Sure On These
Anyone with a narrow foot (and my feet qualify as kayaks) will appreciate how difficult it is to find a hiking boot that fits. Since I got about 8 years out of my last pair of Vasque hiking boots, I went for these after having tried a bunch of other brands to no avail. They're wonderful in every way but 3: they come up a bit too high for me and, for some reason, the left boot top digs into my shin; I prefer sturdy metal lace eyelets to flimsy cloth ones; and the laces aren't long enough which isn't a huge thing....but if you like to double tie, it's frustrating.

No break in time needed. Fit comfortably immediately.
This pair was a replacement for a similar pair (same boot) that I’ve had for many years (and many miles). So glad they still make them.

Love the boots but not the best fit for me
Update 1 year later: I love these boots. I wore tennis shoes on an easy hike the other day and couldn’t believe the difference. The Vasque hold me upright and rooted so I only need to pay standing to where I step. They hold my core. Amazing. And didn’t take that long to break in. Btw - I stepped in the biggest area of black muck that covered up the sides of the boots. By the time I got back to my car my boots were clean and there was nothing stuck in the waffle bottom - how dirt and clay never stick in the waffles is beyond me, but no clean up... ever. I'm still trying to break these in. An 8 in anything always gives me plenty of room. I wore these around the house and was hesitant about size. I've been told by so many people this brand takes a while to break in. I'm so hoping this is the case. I've walked about 30 miles in my neighborhood and there are parts of my bottom foot that start to go numb. Otherwise - great boot. My bad for thinking they would stretch out more
