I love this drawer knife block. It holds a set of 6 steak knives and 5 kitchen knives. I was afraid my larger knife wouldn’t fit— the blade height is about 4” — but it fits nicely. Buying this gave me the motivation to finally organize my knife drawer and will prevent me from accidentally cutting myself when my husband puts the blade facing the wrong way! Some mentioned one of the slots being smaller or too narrow to fit a knife and mine came that way as well. It is easily fixed by using a knife blade to gentle pry the two wood pieces of that slot apart because the wooden pieces are held together by 3 dowel pins. This knife holder is high quality and made from solid wood. It is a decent weight so you won’t find it sliding around in the drawer when it is opened and closed.

This is the second one of these I've purchased and I'm pleased with both. Function as described, fits nicely in the kitchen drawer (giving me back counter space when I had a knife block). I gave this a 4 star because I didn't like the white finish as well as the natural color I previously purchased. This one didn't look as nice as the natural, but didn't alter the function. The white one was cheaper so I thought I'd try it.

I got two of these to replace an upright knife holder that insects kept getting into. It is fantastic, and I can easily see which knives I want to use without having to search through all the slots to find the right blade. I also put my cleavers into them without any problems. Love it.

Narrower than alternatives it fits my drawer perfectly with a cutlery box when others would not. Despite saying 10-15 knives, I actually use it to hold 16.
