Had to do the timing belt and need to get a crankshaft puller, rented one was around 80$ at advanced, but having to go get it when your only car isn't able to made buying this and keeping a good choice. This was used twice with no issues and it's made well, highly recommend buying this if your car has pulleys or anything that needs a puller, with 3 sizes and the arms are able to flip around to be straight or curved on what your grabbing makes this very useful on getting harmonic balancers or crankshaft pulley or regular pulleys off of your car, just make sure to check how much room you need to work with to use this on your specific vehicle, mine Nissan Xterra 04, however I took the coolant radiator and a/c radiator out made crankshaft easy to get to, had to service the condenser anyways.

Well they are very good quality and I believe heavy duty haven't used them yet but they are heavy metal and I know people say that the bolts loosen up on them well for one that is what you want them to do because you don't want to have to use wrenches to loosen up the nuts on them just hand tighten them each time you go to use the tool and everything will be fine and you don't need directions to put them together I've seen where people say that some brands don't have directions to put them together well you probably shouldn't be using the tool if you need directions on how to put bolts on a tool I'm just saying not trying to be sarcastic

I had been looking for a bearing puller for mostly small machine maintenance and came upon this set that was within my budget. Bare in mind that I've never used this type of puller before so my first attempt, while successful, was extremely difficult because you've got three hooks that free float until they grab onto the inner or outer bearing shield making it difficult to tighten it down. Each of the hooks are double ended so, depending on where you want the hook to grab bearing, you have to remove the three hooks by removing the three nuts, turn it to the proper orientation and then reinstall the nut. This, at least for me, is very time consuming. Bottom line is: 1. They seem to be well made. The casted arms/hooks are solid and the main screw is machine well. 2. There's a lot of moving parts that make it difficult for one person to use without help.

These work great and are durable.

More robust, and heavier, than I was expecting for this price. These 3-leg pullers came partially disassembled, but they were so easy to quickly put together. I ordered these because my lawnmowers blade adapter had deformed and was stuck onto the shaft. No matter what I tried, I could not get it off. Once I attached the 6-inch puller, the fine threads made turning the screw effortless and the adapter came off in less than a minute. What a time and energy saver! A great addition to my toolbox to have if ever needed again

Dumb design. The links are too short. The tensioning screw is regular screw thread. It should be acme thread. This makes it harder to turn under load. I should have zoomed in on the photo. They still work. Im gonna cut off one side of the arms to complete my task.

I've used them a few times now, so it's finally time for a review. First of all, I've worked as an industrial mechanic for decades (electric motors and various machines and such), and I've pulled something around a thousand bearings, pulleys, couplers, ect .. with every type of tool under the sun. In the months since I got these admittedly there haven't been any really good fights, everything I pull at my new workplace has been an easy pull. But that does raise a question as to wether some of these things would have come off harder with other pullers....like maybe these are exacting enough to pull more straight than other pullers or just dumb luck? Anyway, the quality of these doesn't appear overwhelming at first glance. They look like upper tier Chinese tools, but they feel much nicer. The lead screws are smooth (I probably should grease them a little now that I think about it), and the bolts for the arms stay where I put them, not too tight to move or so loose they flop around. All in all, I've no regrets - especially at this price. I wish the branding didn't look like such a blatant OEM Tools rip-off, because they can hang just fine as they are. I've also purchased a bearing separator and H-block set from OMT as well and my opinion of their tools stands for both that and the (3) 3-jaw set I have.... Do it, they're worth more than the asking price!

This puller work perfectly on my 2011 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi harmonic balancer, pulled it of no problem, excellent value for the price.
