I have been using this product for years for wiping bench tops and other dusty things in my shop. I use it on finished wood bench surfaces without it overly wetting the grain like plain water or a more aggressive cleaner can. My experience is it is very gentle, yet it does a good job of cleaning dirt and even light oil. I sometimes spray it directly onto the surface I want to clean but I usually spray it on a paper towel first then wipe with the damp towel. It has its limits and really dirty or oily stuff I treat differently. I use it semi-daily and a 32 oz bottle lasts me a year or so.

This has been my go-to quick detailer spray for over a decade now. Works amazing on any surface. I use it to clean my windows, interior, paint finish, and wheels. Safe on everything !
