Q: Will this work with the newer Vortex 20-60x85 spoting scope angled?

The Vankey V1 will NOT work on the Vortex model that you are referencing. You will need the Vankey V1-L to fit your eyepiece.

Q: does this work with Samsung galaxy s7, s8?

Yes it does. Y have a Galaxy S7 and I use it attached to a mycroscope. Perfect fit.
