Can the voice mode be turned to off or silent?

For Retekess TM101 Answer Buzzers, just press the left and right buttons on the lower right corner of the screen to adjust the volume. When the screen shows 0, it is silent mode and there will be no voice announcement, but when the call button is pressed, there will be a tiny beep sound .

Is there a lockout for the buttons? If someone answers incorrectly, is that person prevented from buzzing again fir the same question?

Yes, there is a lock mode; this lock function can only eliminate fouls (press the button in advance) and determine the successful players, but it cannot lock the players who answered incorrectly.
