Is this considered a hammer drill? Thanks

The DCF885 is not a hammer drill it is an impact driver which is best for driving screws and other fasteners faster with more torque than standard drills, but it does not have the mechanisms inside to “hammer” something into a hard surface. Basically, it does the job faster and with more power. On the other hand, a hammer drill is the better tool if you want to make holes in masonry for example. So, depending on what you are looking to do will determine if this is the right tool for you! Great question!

which battery # & charger is required?

Thank you for your question. All of the 20 volt DeWalt chargers and batteries are compatible with the DCF885. A few examples of batteries are DCB201, DCB203, DCB204; Chargers are DCB107, DCB112, DCB115 but again, any in the 20 volt max line will fit with the DCF885. Its really just a matter of how much charge time do you require and how quickly do you want to recharge. Great question!

I need a battery and a battery charger for this unit where can I buy these?

Great question! The standard battery and charger that usually work with (and are compatible with) this drill (DCF885) are the DCB107 charger and the DCB201 battery (1.5 Ah). At this moment, we’ve (SunshineSeller789) got two of the chargers (DCB107) left and will have more batteries and more chargers in stock soon (approx. mid May or before). Otherwise, if you need a battery immediately, please feel free to purchase from another seller. Our ultimate goal is for you to get your project done!!! Furthermore, if you want to get a higher Ah so that your battery has a longer work life, you can also get a higher Ah battery as all of the DeWalt 20V max batteries are interchangeable within the DeWalt 20V product line. For example, you could upgrade your battery to the DCB203 (2 Ah) which will last a bit longer. Thanks again for your question!

Can i use this to remove lug nuts from my wheel

Thank you for your question! The DCF885 has enough torque to remove lug nuts. Usually you need around 1200 in-lbs (or around 100 ft-lb) to remove lug nuts properly so that you don’t get sheared or worse broken studs. The DCF885 has 1400 in-lbs of max torque. Its smaller size also works great in tight spots. Great question!
