Q: Will these tarnish inside, as did two that I had bought from a reputable store?

Ours have not yet and we have had them over a year or so!

Q: Do these give off a metallic taste when drinking from them?

I bought a set of copper mugs in this store a long time ago, but the situation you mentioned hasn’t happened yet. The inner lining is stainless steel and the quality is not bad.

Q: Is it normal for the stainless steel inside the mug to leave some gray on the towel I'm drying the mug with, right after washing?

I haven’t noticed mine doing that. I normally don’t dry mine but I did this morning to check and there was nothing on the towel.

Q: Can the copper cup be filled with coffee?

Coffee? It doesn't work if it's hot, just iced coffee. But I still like the copper cup with ice drink, it looks very cool. Especially during work breaks, I will feel very energetic with a glass of iced drink
