Great glaze color alone or with other glazes! Nice rich color.
This product arrived quickly and was packaged well. I have enjoyed using this color--it looks very nice when used with Green Tea glaze and with Toasted Sage glaze. Tigers Eye is great as the base layers when combined with those colors. I am looking forward to trying it with other glazes as well!

Looks beautiful on cone 5 porcelain
Fired to cone 5 on a Kentucky mudworks cone 5 porcelain looks true to description.

Good quality!
I got this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it! However, the color isn’t red like the pictures. It’s more of a brownish? Anyhow, the quality is amazing and end color depends on how many coats you add. It does very well with other glazes. So far, we’ve had a great experience.

Nice stable glaze
This glaze is beautiful layered over the same brand’s Copper Float glaze

Color
Color flows beautifully with some surface carvings and textures. Don’t use on something that is all texture otherwise it looks green and yellow.

Test tile is a bit misleading..
Don’t buy it if you’re expecting any red.. i was looking forward to the red breakthroughs, but to my disappointment, nada. I’m not upset with the color but this was either c5 or 6 firing and its not what I was expecting.. don’t be like me, look at mayco website for glaze combos with the colors because it will really show you how itll come out.. Had I been less impatient, i wouldve test tiled it myself.. but pots wont glaze themselves and I try to get it out of the way… TEST YOUR GLAZE!!!!! Again, not disappointed, but definitely questionable.

Hard glaze to use, mostly just comes out brown.
The test tile on the photo for the glaze is misleading. Maybe under the absolute best circumstances it looks like the photo, but I have had a number of pieces ruined because of it. It usually fires a chocolate brown, though it looked cool as brown on one of my pieces.

Just. Brown.
I bought this glaze for the hⁿints of other colors as it breaks over texture. Didn't happen. Now I have another bottle of just brown. I used it on brown stoneware clay fired cone 5.
