I'm pretty darn impressed with this bench, except for one fairly minor detail. It is well built, very nice looking and has a fairly decent amount of storage. I was thrilled to find an upholstered bench that wasn't tufted with buttons, since I wanted something upholstered that also had fairly clean lines. This bench fit the bill.Now to the minor detail, which I didn't know of until after receiving my bench, but I admit, I could have missed it somewhere in a photo or the verbiage, since I was so excited about it's style. The only thing that bothers me is that the hinges are on the exterior. If the bench accidentally gets pushed too close to a wall, the hinges could easily mar the walls finish. I plan to try to put tape or some type of padding on them to prevent that from happening, but I have a feeling whatever I put there won't last after opening and closing the top a few times. Luckily, the bench is in a guest bedroom and is being used to hold spare sheets, etc., for that room, so it won't be opened very often. Guests will only use it to sit on, so I plan to make sure whatever padding I put on the hinges is secure when someone will be using the room. I had removed the plastic feet on the bench and added felt padding instead (to protect our wood flooring even more), but that also makes the bench slide easily. If you don't do that, or use the bench on a less slick surface, the hinges being outside wouldn't be much of an issue.All in all, the bench is great looking and well worth the cost, which in my opinion, wasn't excessive.

I love the look and feel to this storage ottoman and it very comfortable to sit on. Assembly is very easy, no tools required just twist the legs on by hand. The storage space is great but was smaller than I expected because of the height of the legs and padding of the top but is offset by the comfort and neutral color that goes with any color scheme and is still very spacious as it fits a quilt, blanket, and several sets of sheets and pillow cases. You won't find another ottoman this size and of as good quality for the same price, trust me I looked for months before finally settling on this ottoman from Rivet and Amazon. Highly recommend it!

I have had this bench for year now. It had a pretty bad smell on the inside at first, so I placed dryer sheets inside and left it close for a week and that did the trick and got rid of the smell. I love this bench. It was everything I needed it to be. It has great storage space. Comfy enough to sit on for a few minutes. Mainly storage though.

My bed is a queen for reference. This beautiful bench is so glamorous 😍 velvety dark teal. Perfect place to store small blankets or storage in general. Came with the legs inside and was super easy to put them on. Seems well made. Love it!

I love this ottoman! it is beautiful, plush and well constructed. It is fairly shallow, but accommodates two comforters and the lid hinge and dampening mechanism is a nice touch and feels sturdy. The color is rich and matches my theater room walls. Excellent.The one flaw is that most people who use an ottoman will place their feet entirely on top and occasionally on the edge of the top. It is here that you feel the sharp edge of the wood beneath the cushion, which is painful. Not sure why they did not bevel the wood underneath, as that would have been very easy to do. This is my only complaint. Otherwise, this is a very good purchase.

This storage ottoman is sturdy. The fabric and cushion is of good quality. The cushion color is vibrant and is as pictured in the description. Also the storage space is sizable and in alignment with the dimensions of this ottoman. 5 🌟

This bench is beautiful. I ordered it in the teal.It was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Its very easy to put together..just have to screw on the legs. The storage area is perfect to store extra blankets.The fabric is lovely. A velvety look and feel..Its nice and sturdy.. The teal is a beautiful rich color.

Was really looking for something different than the button-riveted products that are the norm. Unit is stylish and comfortable and avoids looking like every other bench. The grey color is darker than expected but that works for us since our previous bench was a very light grey that showed every speck of dirt. Very happy with it.

Great to hide shoes at the back door. Provides a sturdy seat to sit on.

I have bought literally hundreds of times from Amazon over the years and got tired of doing reviews but I couldn't deny this one. If you're looking for an ottoman like this you can't go wrong. Fabric, color, style and over craftsmanship is fantastic. Really is one of the best purchases Ive made from Amazon. Local furniture store is double the price in sale for comparable item. If you like the picture, the style and color, then order it and give it a bad rating, the problem is you and not this peice of furniture. Nuff said.

I do like this ottoman, it appears to be well made and it is very attractive looking. In the reviews other people said it had so much storage space, there is the length of the Ottoman for storage but it's only about 9 to 10 inches high but that's not a deal-breaker. The one issue that I have had, well maybe two issues, where the holes are placed for the legs, on either end they are drilled into a different spot spacewise. On one end the legs are a little bit in so you can still feel the side of the Ottoman and on the other end they stick out beyond the ottoman. Also on one side, width wise, when I put the legs on I tighten them and then when I put the ottoman right side up the two legs become loose and I can actually twirl them around while the ottoman is standing. I currently have the ottoman upside down and have put glue where the legs go and I'm going to leave it that way overnight to see if they stick and stay tight. It is very nice ottoman though

I was pleasently surprised at the quality of this item. I noticed had a bit of a smell when it came outta the box but i just rubbed it with a dryer sheet and it was good to go. Has a thicker top too so its comfortable to put your feet on it.

Love the color and the quality. Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Storage is a little shallow but it makes things easy to find. Good price
